  I first met Shaun after a big storm came through the area. After weather like that, all kinds of roofing people start knocking on doors and offering roof replacement services, and my neighborhood was no different. I really do not like unsolicited sales pitches. Shaun was checking roofs in the subdivision and we started talking. From what I could tell, I did not think I needed a new roof, but I asked him to inspect it anyway. He came down from the ladder and told me I did not need a full roof replacement. The only issue he found was a dent in one of the box vents. I was honestly surprised. It is not often you meet a roofing contractor who is that straightforward after a storm. When I asked why he was not trying to sell me a new roof, he explained that some roofers do not think about the long-term impact on a homeowner. That honest answer really stood out to me, so I kept his card for when I actually needed roofing work in the future. Later on, I climbed up to look at my roof again and could clearly see the old T-lock shingles were wearing out. There were nail pops coming through the top layer, the roof had two layers, some areas were not drying evenly, and there was noticeable granule loss. At that point, I reached back out for a proper roofing estimate. Shaun was prompt, easy to reach, and very helpful with every question I had about the roofing system, installation process, crew qualifications, ventilation, materials, and overall benefits of the product. He took time to explain everything in simple terms and never made me feel pressured. That kind of communication made the whole roof replacement process much easier and gave me confidence in moving forward. I highly recommend working with Shaun for roofing services. Honest inspections, clear answers, and solid roofing knowledge are hard to find, and this was a very positive experience from the first inspection to discussing the new roof.

  The whole roofing and chimney repair process was very smooth, from the inspection to taking exact measurements and completing the installation. Christopher & Sons Belmont Roof Repair installed a new stainless steel chase cover on top of the chimney stack to replace an old rusted galvanized piece that had been causing a slow leak into the fireplace area and damaging the gas fireplace logs. The crew was professional, clear, and easy to work with throughout the job. I was very pleased with the service and plan to ask about another estimate for related chimney and venting work around the home. The before and after results looked great.
