  This company is absolute joke!!! They made 2 appointments with me the first they canceled the day before the second they called at 9:26 for a 10:00 am appointment and they aren’t showing up again! I drove 3 hours to meet Adam and this is the type of service they give!! Please think about this when you attempt to get an estimate for a huge job!! Don’t waste your time or money!!

  Sir, I apologize. We pride ourselves on both punctuality and communication. Regretfully, in the instance we arrived 40 mins late and did not communicate that to you ahead of time. We have procedures in place to prevent this from happening; however, there was a breakdown in this particular situation.

  The gutters they installed leak, they failed to repair the issue, and their follow up regarding repairs is threatening. This issue has already cost me and additional $1000 in repairs. I'm going to pass this problem along to the next owner. See how the window on the left has water streaming down. It should be in the gutters. That running water causes root and damage. This thing really need video. So, you can grasp the problem. In short, go with a different vendor.

  We had our siding and roof replaced with certified in 2013. They also fabricated a chimney Cap and flashing. In 2018 we had a leak come through three levels of our home. Upon inspection the siding and chimney Cap was installed incorrectly by certified and water leaked all into our home. August 2018 we contacted certified, filled out the form - the form states there is a charge the customer has to pay if poor workmanship is not the cause. I also sent pictures - I was emailed that someone would call to schedule. No one has called or responded to email since I sent pictures. I contue to contact certified but receive no response. They we're one of the most economical bids but because of the damage and lack of response they caused unsafe conditions due to incorrectly installing the siding and Cap. The customer service is non existent. I would not go with this firm.

  Unfortunately I must edit this review below because, after a few months, we see that they mounted the shingles in such a way that the rain water did not fall in the gutters. Trusting that they would be responsive we reached out to them and they responded with: 1/sending us a form to pre-sign a $350 charge BEFORE they came to look at, it in case they had to do any work (presumably if they had to do any paid work we would approve it first so why the form?), and 2/saying that they had made the installation according to the manufacturer's standards and therefore if the water did not fall into the gutters it was not their fault. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed (because they fell from so high and we had recommended them to friends), as we felt that if it was the case that the installation would result in the rainwater not falling into the gutters, regardless of whether they had installed the gutters or not, any self-respecting professional would notice and forewarn us, preferably at the time of the estimate, and at the latest at the time of installation. Certified changed the roof on our solarium a few years ago and we were very satisfied with their service. So this year we hired them to change the rest of our roof. They aligned their offer with the cheapest one, were here on time in spite of the snow and cold weather, worked all day into the dark evenings with their head lamps and finished according to schedule. Before they left they stacked up all the usable cedar shakes in our firewood pile, which was very thoughtful! Their workers were pleasant and polite. Too bad they are not trustworthy in the aftermath.

  My experience with Certified Inc was positive from start to finish. The owner presented the company services and details of my project and I felt informed rather than pressured to sign a contract , which had been the tactic of the other companies offering estimates. The materials were delivered early on the day before the new roof was to be installed and the crew was at my home by 7:15 on the morning the work was to begin.. Members of the crew were pleasant , polite and hard working professionals.They did a beautiful job on the new roof as well as the cleanup. I would definitely recommend Certified Inc .

  Steve was the absolute best. He was very patient and easy to talk to. It was just my luck that after the shingles were removed, it was discovered that the plywood was in really bad shape. Steve worked with me to find a solution and got me squared away in no time. Colin was also very professional and down to earth. My roof looks amazing and I feel much safer now with a brand new roof. Certified roofing you have a forever customer in me and I will spread the word! Thank you for a great experience.

  Front to back, Certified did a great job replacing the roof on our home. We had decided to replace an old wood cedar shake with a composite lookalike by Brava. Steve Mitchell was helpful and responsive to all questions, produced a thorough proposal, worked with us on tailoring refinements, and delivered the most competitive quote. His construction team are experienced, expert, and detail oriented. They too were responsive to questions and easy to work from delivery, to construction, to clean-up. And, they fit the job into our schedule and completed it on time. High marks all around.

  I rarely write reviews, but this company deserves recognition. The workers were polite, organized, and clearly experienced. Even my neighbors commented on how efficiently the project was handled. The roof has completely transformed the appearance of our home and gives us much more confidence during bad weather.

  Great experience with the company. They were very flexible and communicative. Colin was even able to find a box of my existing siding that had been discontinued years ago so the color would match. Will be calling them again in the future!

  Salesman was very prompt with returning calls, emails and meetings. The work was completed within time period needed and contracted. Workers were very neat and quick to complete the job. I would recommend this company for rain gutter work.

  We needed some quick repairs on some roof flashing. Certified offered a fair price with a rapid turnaround on service. The guy who showed up to do the work had a great disposition and was genuinely nice and professional. The work was completed quickly and professionally. I have found my team for this type of work!

  2026: I've used Certified for a few projects and they've done an excellent job. Richard, Javier, and Tim have been friendly, clear in their explanations, and did what they said they'd do. 2021: Certified did a great job replacing my porch roof with a black, steel, standing-seam roof. My existing porch roof was copper with a rubber membrane over it and, strangely, the built-in gutter was filled in and covered, and had no exterior gutters, causing rain to fall to the base of the porch instead of channeled away from the house. Being a duplex with adjoining porches, Certified proposed that my neighbor have his porch roof replaced at the same time. When my neighbor declined (the built-in gutter on his side is still operational and he’s not as concerned about the apparent carelessness of the previous owners of these houses), I was concerned that the appearance could end badly (e.g., different roof thicknesses, connection not centered on the party wall). But it all turned out really well. Of course, you can tell the two porch roofs are slightly different, but it’s clear that I now have the better one. Steve was very patient with me, answering my many questions. I appreciated that he acknowledged when he'd have to check with someone before giving me a definitive answer (e.g., how they would handle the area connecting with my neighbor's porch roof). As an aside, Certified also replaced my (main) flat built-up roof using TPO about 6 months ago and I haven’t had any issues.
