I tried to tear off and re-sheath my garage roof myself during a stretch of very hot weather, and it turned into way more work than my friends and family could handle. We stopped with only the underlayment left in place, and after a few storms with rain and wind, the garage started leaking badly. I called Carter Family Roofers Llc, and they gave me a fair roofing quote within a day and scheduled the re-sheathing and full reroof quickly. Their crew showed up ready to work, handled the roof deck and shingle installation fast, and finished the whole job in just a couple of hours. They were professional, efficient, and honest, especially compared with other estimates I got that were much higher. I was very relieved to have the roof repaired properly and the leaks stopped before more damage happened.

I highly recommend Carter Family Roofers Llc for any metal roofing work. The price was fair, the team was professional, and the finished roof turned out even better than I expected. They replaced two older roofs on a 3,100 square foot home …

A friend referred us for a roofing project, and we could not be happier with the results. Preston and the roofing crew, along with the gutter, downspout, and siding teams, did an outstanding job from start to finish. Everyone was professional, respectful, and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure every part of the roofline and exterior work was done right. The workmanship was excellent, communication was clear, and the whole process felt smooth and well organized. We hope we do not need another big roof or exterior project anytime soon, but we would absolutely use them again in Richmond. Thank you for everything. You are the best!

I had been dealing with a leak in the roof over my sunroom for a long time after the old roofing was replaced following storm damage. The first roofing crew came back a few times, but the issue never seemed fully resolved. I searched online for another roofer, read strong reviews, and scheduled an appointment. Dean came out to inspect the problem, found the cause quickly, and followed up with a clear quote right away. Dean and the crew repaired the leak the right way and made sure the roofing system was sealed properly. They explained the work in simple terms, showed great attention to detail, and handled the repair with real professionalism. Since the repair, the sunroom roof has been performing well, even through heavy rain and changing weather in Richmond. It was a huge relief to finally have the leak fixed by a roofing team that knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend them for roof repairs, replacement work, flashing issues, and gutter services.

They did an excellent job with our new roof installation, and the whole roofing process felt easy from start to finish. Dean was very helpful, answered every question quickly, and explained the roofing options, materials, and overall plan in a clear way without any pressure. After we signed the agreement, Preston made scheduling simple and helped set the best time to start the project. During the tear-off and shingle installation, Jude was great to work with and kept everything moving smoothly. The roofing crew was professional, efficient, and hardworking. They stayed organized, managed the jobsite well, and did a solid cleanup even with all the old shingle debris. The finished roof looks fantastic and really improved the appearance and value of our home. We are very happy with the workmanship, communication, and overall service, and we would gladly use them again for future roofing or exterior work.

Carter Family Roofers LLC and the crew were the best. preston and the team did a great job removing our old worn-out roof, replacing the rotted wood decking underneath, and installing a beautiful new roof with solid workmanship. They went beyond what we expected and also fixed shingles on our garage overhang, which really helped tie everything together. They even painted a small roof piece that was still burgundy and changed it to black so it matched better. The crew showed up on time, worked fast, and kept the whole roofing project organized from start to finish. Cleanup was so thorough that, aside from the new roof, you could hardly tell they had been there. we feel confident this new roof will stand up well to Richmond heat, rain, and windy storms. the whole experience was smooth, and the quality of the roof work really shows. i am very happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone needing roof repair or roof replacement.

preston was phenomenal and very easy to work with, plus super reliable. Carter Family Roofers LLC replaced the wood rot all around the chimney at my parents house and did a remarkable job, making sure the flashing and surrounding roof area were sealed up the right way. i am a real estate agent, and one of my clients also needed major chimney and roofing work, so he came out quickly, gave a clear estimate, explained the scope in simple terms, and had the job finished within just a few days. his warm personality, professionalism, and roofing knowledge are a combination that is hard to find now. he kept communication clear, showed up on time, and made the whole process smooth from inspection to cleanup. the workmanship looked great, the repair area was solid, and everything was left neat when the work was done. i can’t say enough good things about the experience and i am very grateful.
