  I hired Ian and his team last spring to replace my roof in Akron. He was very friendly and easy to deal with initially, and his team was prompt to do the work. The roof looks great from the outside, but it was soon apparent that neither he nor his team knew the proper way to install vents. After realizing this issue, I reached out to Ian and asked for him to come back and install baffles so that the attic would actually vent properly. He refused to acknowledge that his crew did anything wrong, but eventually agreed to have them install baffles out of his "commitment to customer service". Upon inspecting their work, it is clear that they didn't install the baffles correctly either. Upon further inspection, it appears as if they didn't even cut the vent slot through the wood under the shingles where the vents are, so the vents are essentially rendered ineffective regardless of the baffles. He claims that his crew only deals with exterior work, but installing a properly venting roof should be part of a roof replacement job. I am now going to have to hire a more professional roofing company to fix the mistakes that Ian and his crew made. They are nice guys, but ultimately inexperienced. You are better off hiring some of the other companies that have been around longer and have proven their worth. Update to owner's response: Installing roof vents properly has nothing to do with insulation. I contacted you last year to make this right and you failed to do so adequately. I will get help from another company who actually knows what they are doing and does not need to make excuses for their mistakes.

For most of us, our biggest investment in life is our home and the biggest investment with that is usually the roof. With that being said, a lot of our customers prefer to stand with trusted names and local members of their community. We know that times can be challenging for folks and changing brands on cheese or maybe cutting out some extra subscriptions as warranted. When it comes to your roof covering, this is something that we would hope nobody would only consider the cheapest price as their option.! We salute you for taking pride in your home and getting things done the correct way the first time!   I highly recommend Buckeye guys roofing.They replaced my roof and it looks great and they only use quality materials.The roof was finished in one day and the price for the job was very good.

  Just had my roof replaced by them after storm damage. Excellent job and very helpful in working with my insurance company. Would highly recommend.

  Aaron was great.We had a lot of hail/storm damage. He kept us informed thru the whole process.The crew did great, cleaned up well after. I couldn't believe they got my roof done in a day. My new roof looks great! Highly recommended!
