  In summary: I cannot recommend Brown Roofing due to their profound lack of follow-through, which has been incredibly disappointing. Following a storm damage, I sought a reputable roofer that prioritized quality, fair pricing, and integrity. As a single woman managing this process alone, it was particularly important to find a contractor willing to help me navigate the complex insurance claim process. I chose Brown Roofing because they seemed to meet all my criteria and specifically assured me they would be straightforward and helpful in my efforts to reverse a partial insurance denial. Initial interactions with Jesse were positive, and communication remained consistent until the project finished on Feb 20. However, their commitment vanished once labor ended. Despite claiming customer peace of mind is their priority "from the first call to the final nail," my attempts to confirm the filing of insurance documentation – via emails on Feb 27, Mar 13, and Mar 23, and a phone call on Mar 24 – have been met with silence. Their failure to honor their commitment is deeply disappointing, and for this reason, I cannot recommend their services.

  We had a new roof put on our residence recently and Brown Roofing did an excellent job. They made sure that it was customized to our satisfaction.They were on time, returned our calls promptly, and completed the job on time.

  Called and left voice mail messages on 10/22 at 10:20am and 3:30 on 10/23. On 10/24 I got a call back from Debbie who said they don’t do repairs/patching. I explained what our roofing issues were and let her know we likely need more than a “patch job” and so she said she would call me back after she got the schedule for next week. It’s now 10/28 and she still never called me back. I guess they don’t need the business.

  I would give zero but I can't. I had an appointment scheduled for more than a week out. It was to be between 9am and 10 am. I was in the shower at 8;50 when he was apparently at my house. I was downstairs at 9am and called the office at 10;05am only to learn that he had been here already. I had no messages or missed calls to let me know. Disgusting customer service!!! Is 8;50am between 9am and 10am to you???

  Jesse is really great to work with. He came out for an inspection after some of my roofing tiles fell off. He gave me his assessment & recommendation without trying to upsell or pressure. A personal friend wouldn't have been more honest or reasonable. He's the guy you want to talk to about your roofing issues

  Recently hired Brown Roofing to replace all of the underlayment on our 20+ year old tile roof on our home. They completed the job ahead of schedule, pricing was competitive and they were respectful of our home. They also addressed a couple of cosmetic adjustments, post install, in a timely manner.

  Our house is almost 19 yrs old and it was time to get the underlayment replaced. We got a few bids from well rated companies, Brown had the best price, best warranty and best ratings. They showed up exactly when scheduled, kept the job site clean (very important to me because we have dogs) and the roof looks great!!! Definitely recommended!

  It’s not always easy to find a contractor you can trust, but our experience with Brown Roofing and Jesse Coder (General Manager) was a great one. Jesse was professional, straightforward, and took the time to explain what was actually needed—without any pressure or unnecessary upselling. We really appreciated his honesty and willingness to point us in the right direction, even when it meant a smaller job—or even no job yet. It’s clear he values doing right by his customers. When the time comes for bigger roofing work (because it always does eventually), Brown Roofing will be our first call.

  A few years ago, Brown did a removal and install of new asphalt shingles - work and timing were 100%. A few days ago, noticed the skylight in the master bathroom was cracked, old age, called Jessy for suggestions, he said he would stop by the next day to inspect. After his inspection he said they could get the acrylic replaced in a few days. His crew arrived yesterday mid-day, in about an hour they had replaced the acrylic and did an inspection of the entire roof membrane. Touched up a few spots where the AC ducts went through the roofing, there were no leaks, just wanted to make double sure everything was 100%. Great People, Great Service.

  I highly recommend Brown Roofing to anyone looking for a dependable roofing contractor in the Phoenix Valley. They recently completed a full asphalt shingle roof replacement on my home, and the workmanship was excellent from start to finish. A few years ago, they also replaced the underlayment on a tile roof at another property I owned. Both projects were handled professionally with great communication and attention to detail. Their pricing was honest and upfront, with clear estimates and no surprise charges. That level of transparency is hard to find. If you need roof replacement, tile roof underlayment replacement, or asphalt shingle roofing anywhere in the Valley, Brown Roofing delivers top-quality work and outstanding service. In my experience, they’re one of the best roofing companies in the area.
