Stay away! Bone Dry came out to fix my roof and made the situation worse. Before they came out, I emphasized the importance of their matching my existing roof. After being assured it would, it resulting work stuck out like a sore thumb. …

We hired Bone Dry to replace our gutters and facia around the house. Everything looked great at first but about a week later, (the first time it rained), our gutters were leaking all around the house. I notified them immediately about the issue and when they came out, they explained that this is happening because we don't have a drip edge on the roof and so water is leaking behind the gutters. We asked why this wasn't recommended in the first place and to this day, they never gave me a direct answer as to why. Their resolution was to either a) buy a $20,000 roof, or b) install a drip edge, which according to them, would cost as much as a new roof and they weren't even sure our roof would support a drip edge without damaging it - so they weren't recommending this option. While this was A LOT more money than we were planning to spend, the money wasn't the issue. The issue was they made a mistake (i.e. installing gutters knowing there was a gap between the gutters and the roof and therefore, would cause leaks); and that they didn't mention this additional cost when we agreed to the initial price. Now, we're locked into needing to potentially spend $20,000 more to fix an issue that they caused. I should also note here that our ~30 year old gutters, while showing their age, did not have this problem. We essentially paid $8,000 for nicer looking gutters that leaked. This issue went on for 5 or 6 straight months because they never admitted their mistake, and never offered any sort of apology or remedy for their error. Our roof would leak, we would call them, they would tell us the same thing. After several phone calls, the manager finally offered a solution - A new roof at a discounted rate (which was still over $10,000)...This is the point where we told him that they have two options: 1. To fix the roof at no cost; or 2. Give us a full refund on the gutters. And that we aren't paying another dime to fix their error. We paid for gutters that don't work, it's as simple as

I was told the worker doing my estimate would show up on time for the appointment they set for me. I was told they do not do time blocks (between this time and that time); that when they give you a time, they stick to it. My time came and went before I called them a half hour later to cancel my appointment. If a company can not keep its word as to the time they will be there, then how can I trust them to do quality work? They also never sent me a confirmation text or email on the day they created the appointment. I had to call them them two days prior to my repair estimate, to make sure that I was still on their schedule (they said their texting service was down and they did send me an email after I called). I can not speak to the quality of their work but I will say that their are areas in which they could improve the customer's experience. I hope you all will have better luck with this company.

So I had Jason come out to find out where my leak is and I gotta say for someone that has been in the business for xmany years he can't figure out where the leak is at. Now we are making guess's and when I ask for a skinny guy to come out because Jason could not get back there his office said whatever Jason says is what we are going with. Stay away from this company.

Our Branch Manager decided not to send another repairman due to two factors: 1) The obstacles hindering the first specialist's assessment would have been a hindrance to other specialists. Some spaces are difficult to access, and repair … More

In the past two years bone dry roofing replaced my roof twice and still could not do it right the second time. The workmanship is shoddy. They also contract the roofing installations out to contractors who cannot speak english and who are not properly trained. The foreman had less than a year experiance in roofing. Had I known this on the first day I would have not let them reroof my house. Neither roof was installed correctly first atempt they covered over rotted and broken wood. Second atempt they tried to cover over wood not cut correctly. The wood decking is exposed to the elements it hangs over the roof past the fascia board. Dripedge was hit with a hammer and bent over corners. They had to remove large sections of new shingles cause I caught them covering up shoddy work. Management did not stop contractors from performing shoddy work. I would never use this company again for anything. I have pictures from both installations. Do not let this company anywhere near your home. They do not have any respect for you or your home. My neighbor who lives next door also complained he could not let his dog out in his yard because there was so much trash from the job site in his yard. There were nails, plastic and shingles in his yard. I found a total of 18 nails in my gravel driveway after they said they checked it. This company thinks shoddy work is ok. Update 3/6/20 more shingles are starting to peel up and so is flashing around chimney. Also back part of the house has a hump in the center where shingles are coming up. More pictures will be posted. Don't let this company anywhere near you house!!!!!!!

We have made every effort to address the issues. The roof was inspected by the owner of the company. The second roof installation was performed free of charge with decking included. With thousands of satisfied customers across the Midwest over the past 30 years, we know we have offered reasonable solutions to resolve any issues.

I recently had a new roof put on by Bone Dry Roofing company. When the salesman came out, I was very impressed that he had the answers to my questions right away. Then the day of my installation Joshua from Bone Dry Was here taking pictures and explaining things to me as the old shingles came off and new shingles went on. He did a fantastic job of keeping me informed. The roof looks beautiful. It gave the house a new fresh look. Jameson, Joshua, and Angela made this a very easy process for me. I will highly recommend Bone Dry to anyone Having any roof issues.

My first experience with Bone Dry was great. We had them replace some sections of gutter and a downspout on the front of our house. The turnaround from quote to completed work was quick, and the finished product looked great and has functioned perfectly ever since. About two years later, I reached back out to have a similar repair done on a section of gutter in our backyard. Just like the first time, they responded quickly and provided a quote, which I approved the same day. After about two weeks of not hearing anything, I followed up and was told they were waiting on materials and would contact me soon to schedule the work. After another month and a half with no updates, I reached out again and was told the production manager was on vacation and would contact me the following week. That never happened. Two months after approving the estimate, I called once more and was told the production manager was in a meeting and would call me back afterward. While I did eventually receive a call later that day, I was disappointed that no one could explain why it had taken so long for anyone to reach out and schedule the work. The response I received was, "I'm not sure, this just came across my desk today." To their credit, once the work was scheduled, they came out and did an excellent job. The gutters look great and function exactly as intended. My only frustration was the lack of communication throughout the process. From the day I approved the estimate to the day the work was completed was 2 months plus 15 days, and most of that time I was left wondering about the status of the project. Overall, the quality of the work has been excellent both times I've used Bone Dry. However, the communication and scheduling experience during the second project was disappointing enough that I'll likely think twice before using them again.

I had a serious attic ventilation problem caused by a big local roofing company that resulted in lots of black mold growth. I asked 5 different roofing companies how to improve the ventilation. Jameson Rausch at Bone Dry Roofing is the only one who showed a clear understanding of airflow and ventilation. Bone Dry was the only company that actually complies with the building code. Everyone there treated me like family and not a piggybank. I recommend them with my whole heart. ❤️

Selected Bone Dry Roofing due to them being a local provider with good reviews. Their entire team was professional and friendly. They provided a quote for repairs as well as some optional services. I passed on the optional services and that was that. No pressures. The two servicemen that I dealt with represented the company very well. Dressed in company gear and drove easily recognizable company trucks. I will definitely use Bone Dry Roofing again should the need arise.

During the heavy wind storms, we lost some shingles off our 11 year old roof. BoneDry was prompt in returning my call and setting up an evaluation. Their price was 1/3 what another company quoted. They came out the next week and completed the repair. Communion was prompt and friendly. When my roof needs a full replacement, I'll be giving them a call first.

I’ve worked with Bone Dry Roofing multiple times over the past couple of years for roof repairs, and they’ve been consistently excellent. My home has a fairly complex roof, but their team has always handled the work with professionalism and attention to detail. From start to finish, the experience has been great every time. Steve, the general manager, has been especially helpful—no matter how big or small the repair, he takes the time to make sure everything is handled properly. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about solving problems the right way. I also really appreciate the communication and the photo updates showing the repair process. Seeing the before-and-after results gives a lot of confidence in the quality of their work. With the recent wind damage we’ve had, it’s a relief knowing I have a company I can trust to respond quickly and do the job right. When the time comes for a full roof replacement, I won’t hesitate to call them. I would absolutely recommend Bone Dry Roofing to anyone in need of reliable, high-quality roofing services.
