Absolutely do NOT call these guys despite all of the positive reviews. They will damage a part of your house (i e. Siding, shingles) so you absolutely HAVE to have them repaired whether you need it or not. They will screw around with insurance co for months and then ultimately not have time to do the job. Family member is in process of waiting for them to return payment. Like 23K! And now they are stuck with a hole in the siding that is unnecessarily 10" located in the most viewable spot on the house. Obviously they have to turn around and go through entire process all over again. The worst part is there was NOTHING wrong with the siding. Pretty sure that's fraud. Any insurers, feel free to chime in. They may be good for the Columbus area but good luck if you live anywhere else and if you call for roof repair, do NOT let them anywhere near your siding. Contacting BBB if checks aren't returned very soon.

We had our roof replaced Monday by Able Roofing. They arrived around 7am and a storm came through around noon. They did not have the roof tarped and we have significant water damage throughout our attic and home. I highly do not recommend …

Beware this company. They do not repair interior damage from leaks covered under warranty. They wanted to charge us $550 to tarp our roof while we waited for them to repair their error ($550 that was nonrefundable). Additionally, they installed the flashing around our chimney incorrectly, but we will void our warranty if we have a chimney company do it correctly. They are not morally sound - they only care about their bottom line and have the policies to prove it.

★☆☆☆☆ ADVICE: SCRUTINIZE YOUR INVOICES AND VERIFY ALL WORK - Update July 20, 2026 UPDATE - July 20, 2026: On July 13, the owner replied to this review stating the matter had been "escalated internally for further review." I replied requesting that the findings of their internal review and any proposed resolutions be provided in writing. To date, I have not received a response to my initial July 6 audit or my follow-up email sent on July 16 to the executive team (see attached file Screenshot 2026-07-20 134846.jpg). The physical discrepancies remain completely unresolved, specifically the unperformed structural framing labor and improperly attached rafters that fail to make physical contact with the damaged structural hip beam. PROJECT & AUDIT HISTORY: I am a repeat customer who paid Able Roofing $28,400 in 2025 for a full roof replacement, and engaged them again in 2026 for a major, insurance-funded structural repair after a tree strike. Across both projects, total paid contracts approach $50,000. Following the 2026 project, a physical audit revealed the following discrepancies: Equipment Billing: The final invoice included a $550.00 charge for a 20-yard dumpster that was not delivered to or utilized at my property. Labor and Structural Scope: The billing included a $7,002.55 custom quote to tear down and rebuild internal framing, plus an additional $2,371.68 for framing labor. A physical audit revealed the primary structural replacement was not executed. Furthermore, the minor patching that was performed was attached incorrectly, causing the new lumber to split. COMMUNICATION TIMELINE: July 1: Spoke with the Project Manager regarding visible exterior issues and missing materials. He promised a management response by July 2 via text (see initial screenshot). No response provided. July 4: Audited the interior attic and discovered the unperformed structural work. July 6: Emailed the executive management team with photographic evidence, formally requesting a cor

Our new gutters and gutter guards solved all of our problems. No more gutters pulling away from the house and over flowing. The install was quick and clean. The new gutters handled all of the heavy rain since with ease.

Andrew L. was incredibly helpful and instrumental in getting our gutter system replaced. We had a significant leak (with heavy rain) that ran from the roof, to our sunroom and living room. Prior to engaging with Andrew our insurance brought in a “claims specialist” to assess the leak. They stated it was due to regular wear and tear of poor caulking. We sought another opinion and after a single visit Andrew, he believed the leak stemmed from poor gutter placement and heavy water flow from our house to our sunroom gutters. Just a couple weeks ago, the gutters were replaced and with all the heavy rain this past week, there has been zero leakage inside our home. This was an ideal and practical solution for us. Something our insurance and their specialist completely overlooked. Grateful for Andrew’s help and experience. Highly highly recommend.

EDIT: Able replaced my siding in July 2026 and did a fabulous job. From working with Zach to choose the siding and trim, to the awesome crew, to Amber in the office, the people were great and the process was smooth start to finish. The end result - what looks like a new house (see photo). I've had so many neighbors stop by and comment about how terrific it looks + friends and family have raved about the job well done! I need windows next, and based on the job they did with the new roof a few years ago and most recently, the siding, I will certainly consider Able for the job! ------- A recommendation for Able Roof is definitely in order. They did a partial rebuild of my chimney, tuckpointed the rest of it, and replaced the roof, gutters, and downspouts. Everything looks just great and I can't say enough about every single person I've dealt with there, from the schedulers to the project managers and the crews. Both the roof and masonry work were handled so professionally, communication was terrific, and everything was cleaned up beautifully. The chimney work took over a week, and Michael cleaned everything up each day before he left so I could go out and let my dogs out without any worries. I'm so impressed - and I'm not easily impressed. These guys could teach a master class on customer service, communication, and professionalism. Always on time, and kept every promise that was made. I was also able to be in communication via text with both the masonry manager (Josh) and roofing project manager (Robert) as needed throughout the process. These folks are definitely at the top of my list for any future needs! Wouldn't think of using anyone else!!

Able did a good job installing our (large) roof. The workers started really early in the morning on a scorching hot day and finished by the end of the day, as promised. One issue is the ridge vent, which shows gaps between it and the shingles. Those are entry points for rodents and bats, and there are many videos online showing this problem. Even when properly nailed down, the ridge vents warp due to the elements and leave gaps that let critters into the attic/roof structure. Anyone who has ever dealt with rodents or bats knows the kind of mess they make. The only way to handle this is to staple a fine mesh such as hardware cloth underneath the ridge vents. It's an extra step but I am surprised they don't do it as a matter of course, especially given how much a new roof costs. I pointed this out to Able and was told they would return to reinstall the ridge vents. They haven't yet. If they fix this problem, I will upgrade to 5 stars. Edit 8/19/2026: Able never showed up to fix the incorrectly installed ridge vents. The timeline: I brought this up with the guy who came to inspect the finished roof and collect the payment (on 7/20/2026) and I was told on two different occasions over the following two weeks that a crew would take care of it. Nobody ever showed up after almost 1 month. I am downgrading my ranking from 4 to 3 stars.

Every one from Able did a great job. Matt was a very knowledgeable salesperson and did a great job inspecting our roof and telling us the scope of work needed. Matt stayed in touch with us all the way through the job too. Guillermo and his crew arrived on time both days and the entire crew worked very hard and did a GREAT job. The valleys were woven and the finished job exceeded our expectations. Even the yard was cleaned up extremely well. Mike, the site foreman, kept us very well up to date and let us know when there were some small changes (plywood delaminated) that needed to be changed. Everyone from Able was very helpful, kind, hardworking, and knowledgeable. We are so happy with Able, we are having them do our mom's house as well.

What an amazing crew! They kept everything clean and were professional. Worked through storms and complications and got the job done. And even came back to double check they cleaned up and did their job right. New roof looks amazing and I’m very happy with the work that they did. Highly recommend recommended if you’re looking for professional workers.

I'm a semi-retired developer. I am reasonably demanding. I must say, I am impressed from the front-end (sales) to the back end (service), they have been good with appropriate and reasonable pricing, and trades who are clearly actively managed for customer satisfaction. I will recommend Able Roofing.
