#1: best quality. Ed (owner) takes midwestern type pride in his work. I love my roof! #2: price. Very competitive and reasonable price, and he beat 2 other bids despite having also better customer service, communication and top quality. #3: work ethic. Ed and his helper were there every morning at 7am despite my living on a frigging mountain, and worked with a smile despite 100 deg heat in full sun. Result: I have requested Ed (i.e. Adept Roofing) to do two more roofs for me, and I have recommended him to my realtor in Durango.

I appreciate that sentiment, I really do want to deliver not just a water tight roof, but also an installation that’s appealing to look at. Thanks for the review!

Ed and his crew did an excellent job on our chimney chase and cover, as well as siding part of our house. We love the look and color of the metal siding. Communication throughout the project was great, they were always punctual, and the …

Ed did a great job replacing our failing shingle roof with a standing seam roof. We have a weird house and Ed was able to create some custom solutions for us that other companies definitely would not have done. He communicated well and often, which is a nice change from most contractors.

Hey thanks Joe! And extra thanks for letting me build the snow break/gutter system up there! With customers like you we can advance how roofs get done around here.

Ed did a full roof replacement for me after another contractor installed materials incorrectly and caused significant water damage to our home. He was able to salvage a lot of the material and went well beyond fixing the existing issues but …

Ed did a great job on our roof repair. He went above and beyond to get the job done. He is professional and communicates well from start to finish. This is the second job he’s done for us, and I will continue to use him and recommend to others.

I work with two HOA's in the Purgatory area. Ed and Adept Roofing have done several projects for us, and is hands-down the best outfit in town! His attention to detail, quality workmanship, and pride in his work are unmatched in this part of the country. We have done repairs and replacements, all with beautiful results, and roofs that function better than original. Ed is very knowledgeable about how a roof should perform in our extreme climate up here in the mountains (always a challenge). Add to that, he is the ultimate professional to work with. Thank you, Ed and Adept Roofing! Not only have you given us a great product at a fair price, but you make my job as an HOA president so much less stressful!

Great work! We needed the roof replaced at our remote off grid cabin at 9000'. The guys did a great job! I waited to write a review until after this last winter to see how it held up. It's amazing the standing seam is the way to go if you …

Discovered a small roof leak on a Sunday morning and Ed came out within a few hours to do the repair. Very happy with the quick response on a rainy Sunday! Will use them again for any roof issues.

We had a big hail storm that put a hole in one of our old skylights. Ed with Adept Roofing came by that day and helped us. He got the new skylight ordered quickly and installed in a VERY timely manner and did a few other repairs for us. The price was great and he is very profesional. I would definitely recommend.

The job got done within the promised timeframe and budget. That’s as good as it gets.

Selling copper at my cost and have almost two tons ready to go! While paint fades and steel rusts, copper appreciates adding value to your home. Imagine never replacing your roof! Imagine twenty years from now your roof is more valuable rather looking like replacement is on the horizon!Jun 10, 2026
