The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Ace San Diego Roofer. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

I wanted to write a review because the technician took the time to explain each step when installing my gutters and helped me to understand why they advised a little larger size than I originally thot required. The install took about 3 hours to complete and you could tell they were detail oriented when they modified the slope a little to make sure it drained properly.

I took a second opinion and I saw that this roofing contractor replaced only the essential shingles and corrected the underlying issue in approximately two hours, which took longer than the first firm but appeared more comprehensive. The previous contractor wanted to replace it completely, but it didn't seem essential because this fix has held up so well so far.

When I mentioned my past experience, the technician went into great detail regarding their metal roof installation process which immediately set a better tone. They did a good job and completed the installation in three days and always left the area clean at the end of the day.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 5 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 5, of which 5 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Ace San Diego Roofer. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
