  The estimate I received came back much higher than what I’ve seen for similar jobs in the Jacksonville area. It felt overpriced and left me with the impression that I might be getting taken advantage of. On top of that, they don’t provide itemized quotes, so you have no clear idea of what you’re paying for in terms of labor vs. parts. I’d strongly recommend getting multiple quotes before moving forward with them.

  We are sorry that you feel we were overpriced. I can't say we know what job we quoted, nor why we priced it as we did as I'm not sure who you are. We do try to be competitive in pricing but we also are not trying to be the cheapest, we aim to be one of the best. We also don't itemize our quotes as labor vs. parts isn't so cut in dry. There is much more that goes into "labor". There is insurance, payroll, taxes, misc. expenses like gas, wear and tear on vehicles, equipment etc. We are a small company. We're far from rich and we are not getting rich off of our clients. If we made a mistake on your estimate we apologize. We are human and mistakes can happen. We hope whatever work we quoted you for was done correctly and whomever did the job stands behind their work. We do hope, should you have another project, you will give us another chance.

  Only reason i gave this a one star is that the job was done quickly and service was friendly, however the second piece of siding that was replaced was rushed and done completely wrong. Who puts nails through the outside of the siding? Apparently this was how to attach siding up ....new one on me.

  Hi Justin, We are sorry to hear that you are still displeased after we went back the same day and fixed the mistake in placement of the trim nails. As I explained while there fixing the mistake, due to the way the siding was originally installed by the last contractor who installed the siding, we could not clip the siding together, as the siding was not properly clipped together to begin with, thus trim nails were needed to do the small repair. When the repair was corrected the trim nails were installed under the bottom lip, as to not be as visible, and to hold the siding together. The only way to properly repair that wall would be to take all the siding down and reinstall. We are willing to give you a price to repair the entire wall if you would like. When we left you after removing the piece of siding that had trim nails nailed through it and replaced that piece, using the trim nails through the bottom to hold the bottom of the siding in place, since we could not clip it together, you seemed to be very pleased. I hope I did not mistake your happiness with the fixed repair. We do not like using trim nails to do a repair but unfortunately sometimes, like mentioned before, when the siding was not correctly installed to begin with, we are left with no choice on small repairs. I apologize that the large repair was not offered at the time of the repair. Our employees do not have the authority to offer services other than what is on their work order. Please let us know if you are still having issues so we can attempt to rectify them. A-Team Exteriors

  I called for an estimate last Wednesday and was told that someone would call me back within a day. To date no call. Bad customer service!

  Hi Lori, I tried to give you a call this morning but your mail box is full. First and foremost I wanted to sincerely apologize. When we received your call I was out doing estimates and your estimate request was placed inside our estimate binder instead of on top. It actually took me a while to find it after seeing your review of our company. We did not mean to leave you hanging and are truly sorry. We would still be happy to come out and give you an estimate and could be out there by the end of the weekend if you're still wanting us to give you an estimate.   While they did not do work for me, I can vouch for what I have seen them do in my area. Excellent respectful,care of neighboring properties for one. Watching tear downs, complete reroofing, cleanups, you would not even know they were nearby. They replace any rotted roof plywood at the same proper thickness, apply roof shield well, ridge vents, flashing, shingles, all carefully done. And valleys perfect. They really do a wonderful job. So many roofing companies mess up the valleys,flashings, put thinner plywood down, misalign shingles, throw flashing out, and fail to properly apply drip edging, as I watched yet another company recently do a neighbor’s roof. It was a nightmare. In talking with a female in the office also is most pleasant, as I had questions, to learn. So yes, if ever I needed another roof, I would pick this company hands down!

  These people did our roof after the hurricane and previously to that cut the branches over our house which has lasted two years. They are local, they are priced competitively and the workmans ship is topnotch These people are sweet and kind and deserve every bit of business they can get. -Leon Burger

  5 Stars without question. I had two roofs with leaks. They came out within an hour and fixed the first (a 1890 metal roof) and then went to the other house and fixed that problem. I highly recommend them. It didn't hurt that the ladies that came had great personalities and brought along two friendly dogs. Fair pricing as well.

  The service and employees were so helpful and got the job done! I have been trying to get several roofing companies that either did not contact me back or at all. Their price was reasonable. Erin’s updates were very helpful. The team got here quick and were professional. I highly recommend this company.
