Follow up: I was called a "troll" from the owner for reporting a not very favorable response from a phone conversation I had. I wanted service. Nowhere did I state I was a customer or have received any kind of service from them. I certainly never will now. Original review: I called in because I had an issue with ventilation in my attic and was told I needed the soffit ventilation inspected. I called in to request service and was told I couldn't have that problem and my concern was dismissed. I do have another roofing company coming out for an inspection.

Mr. Hartsky, given that you are not and have never been a customer of ours, we have reported your unqualified review to Google. We take our reputation very seriously and will not allow people who troll like you to damage it.

Kirk Davis came to our home on 11/14 so that we could get a quote for roof replacement. 3+ weeks later, we never heard back from them. We called multiple times about the quote and left a VM each time, but they never called us back.

Mr. Martin, respectfully, you contacted us seeking an estimate for terracotta tile roof repairs, including replacing missing ridge caps, not a roof replacement. Kirk Davis met with you at your home on November 14, 2024 to evaluate necessary repairs. He discussed with you the fact that in order to make repairs using a tile to match your existing tile as closely as possible and find appropriate tile ridge caps, we would need to find reclaimed tile for your project. Finding the right supplier with like tile at a reasonable cost is not an easy task. Kirk should have communicated better. He spoke with you by phone to apologize for his lack of communication and to discuss your project. You acknowledged and accepted his apology and ended the phone conversation. We apologize that we did not communicate better and that we were unable to provide you an estimate for your tile roof repairs.

Called to request a service call after the company having installed my roof because of a leak. Owner was rude, yelled at me and Never returned my call to schedule for someone to come out and inspect the roof that needed repair. Extremely poor customer service.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry we could not accommodate your demand for immediate service. We completed your roof in 2008 and although our workmanship warranty expired three years ago we appreciated the opportunity to evaluate your leak. Kirk Davis did return your call and spoke with you directly. He said he would arrange a service call to investigate your leak but it would have to be worked into the schedule. Unfortunately, we could not meet your expectation or demand for immediate service. If you would like to revisit scheduling a service call, please contact our office so that we can arrange one in the schedule.

Thank you, Kirk & Grayson for an exceptional vinyl siding & gutter job completed in Dec 2025. I am thankful for the team's stellar work ethic, quality, attention to detail, and communication to discuss improvements along the way. Since my old siding was 40 year-old aluminum, I most appreciated Kirk’s industry knowledge and guidance. Kirk’s honesty, integrity, and understanding of the project are the reasons I chose A.H. Davis & Son. Siding is a big job. The siding team worked diligently with careful attention as if it was their home; they did a great job. Kirk’s commitment to customer service and job well done within the community is evident; I am a grateful customer.

We have contracted A.H. Davis & Son, Inc. to replace our roof and gutters and we could have not been happier with them. They have met us first to understand our needs and gather measurements to prepare an estimate. Once we have contracted them, they scheduled our project and provided regular updates on timing. When they started the work, they were working very neatly. Their crew was polite, hard-working and organized. Once they finished, they performed a thorough cleanup of the perimeter of the house. The gutter installation was equally efficient and completed in a timely manner. We would recommend A.H. Davis & Son, Inc. to anyone looking to upgrade their roof or gutters!

I spent a long, long time hunting for a roofer who understood the importance of ventilation for my roofing job. We were removing an older cedar shingle roof from our 100 yr old Main Line home and replacing it with asphalt shingles. This was going to require a ventilation solution. Kirk Davis stood out head and shoulders above all of the other half dozen or so roofers I interviewed by virtue of his appreciation of this fact. His team was amazing. They performed high quality work and exceeded my expectations at absolutely every turn. I can't thank them enough for the results. Not the cheapest, but by my reckoning the best value for money!
