  A rep knocked on my door about doing the roof job across the street. He informed me that they are the best and that they work with all insurance companies. He said he would walk me step by step on how to do a full roof replacement. Furthermore he said “Whatever the insurance company quotes the replacement for, that’s what we would do it.” Fast forward through the claims process and naturally my insurance company does not do a full roof replacement. When I give the information to the salesman, he says in a disappointed tone “wish it was what we were hoping for, I still think you need a new roof, here’s a quote. Let me know when you get it.” I gave him a quote of another roofer that was significantly lower, albeit with a different brand of shingles. “I don’t know how he is that low. Something doesn’t seem right.” So now I’ve done a claim on my roof, and instead of doing it for what the insurance company was willing to pay for it, there was complete apathy for the job since it’s not a total roof replacement. Storm chasers. Don’t recommend.

  I’d love to know his name if you have it because the reps are trained to give information to any and everyone they come in contact with that has time to listen.   Perhaps you should be giving the 1 Star review to your insurance company. They are the ones who denied your claim. Even after that we wanted to help get it overturned like we did with 47 others so far this year. We spent our efforts trying to help you before even going to any sort of contract. We are contractors and in that realm we should be judged, not because your insurance claim was “initially” denied. Frank is an incredible rep and 5 Star is an incredible team of individuals. For someone to purposely try to hurt our reputation because our efforts to try to help them did not succeed on the first try is just downright unfair. People will be exactly who they are.

  You are a horrible customer! We provided you a $28,000 top of the line roof with a 50 year warranty and you did not pay a penny out of pocket. You had a $1000 deductible you did not pay and the interior funds of $300 were to go towards YOUR deductible. In addition, the total contractual agreement was for $28,772.54, we only collected $28,103.72. In truth, you owe us another $600 NOT including the amount of deductible you did NOT pay. Would you like to pay my company what is still owed on the contract amount or should we place a lien on your title? Please advise how you would like to move forward because this BOGUS review now has me a little bit disturbed.........

  Just had someone from this company tell me that 3 tab shingles are against building code. I called the county code office and they told me that whatever roofer told me that was a liar and are trying to upsell me on shingles.

  This was one of the smoothest renovations in long time. From the beginning Jason Grove was very informative and helpful explaining the process. He handled all the paperwork, so no worries there. He kept me informed throughout the entire process with updates. On installation day, he came in to check everything was to my satisfaction and provided status updates thru out the day. Speaking of installation, the crew was GREAT very polite and FAST, you could tell that they had a system in place, as they finished the removal and installation in one day “WOW” They left the area just like they found it even with the massive amount of debris. Very happy with the job. Gutters are next.

  Great experience and highly recommend. We had our roof replaced and during the consultation each step and process was clearly and thoroughly discussed. Scheduling was a breeze and they were very communicative when changes needed to occur due to weather. The whole install was completed within a day and the crew left the area around the house spotless. The roof looks great and couldn't have asked for a better experience from beginning to end.

  I highly recommend 5 Star Roofing! Frank was amazing! His communication was top tier and he guided us through the entire process. We knew what to expect at every step.   I liked the work and care they did. Not complaining with the language barrier, but we worked through on all ends. The pitch, the work, install and clean up. So I am happy with what they all did as insurance could not do what they say they will. So thanks to Jay the talker and the crew that came out. Took the old, repaired and replaced the new roof. Enjoy the warm weather and have fun this holiday.
