  Reply to owner: The storm damage was done on May 25, so we did not contact you in April, and we DID pay you $600 - I wrote the check on June 10. Invoice # 12692-1. So YOU must have us confused with someone else. Original post: Called them after storm damage to our roof. They put a tarp on our roof - but did a poor job of it. The tarp was coming loose later the same day and flapping in the wind. They left the torn edge of the roof exposed. When I called to talk to them about it, the office person didn't want to listen to me - kept interrupting and talking over me. Then they charged us $600 for the lousy job they did. When we had a different roofing company do the repair work, we found out that Zucca had punched lots of nail holes in the roof, so a lot more had to be repaired and replaced than necessary.

  Ma’am, I have you in our system requesting service on April 4th, but you cancelled the request April 10th. I don’t have any costs associated, any invoices, or any tasks completed. We have a full software suite that tracks all activities on a job and there’s nothing on yours. I believe you have us confused with someone else.

  Communication was poor… took very long to get our project completed. I am a patient guy. But the lack of communication was frustrating. I had to reach out every time to get updates. They subcontract all their work so it’s hard to get quality control. I am still waiting for a call from them to come fix our door bell as they cut power to it. I called and was told they figure out how to go about it (Again because they subcontract) but never got a call back.

You gave us multiple attempts to reach out to you and explain what’s going on and we didn’t, and I’m truly sorry. We are inundated. The volume of storms and our reputation has us overwhelmed this year. We are doing our absolute best to maintain the level of service our customers are accustomed to, but we did not deliver that to you. I think you’ll find most of your quality roofing companies in KC are in the same situation, as I talk to a bunch regularly. If you come across a situation that you need help, please let me know.   more than very disappointed. 1800's home in independence needed roof and gutters. astronomically unprofessional and can not look you in the eyes salesman named kenneth misrepresented their workmanship and product and actually assumed wrongly. getting quotes to replace his bald face lies and resulting destruction and then taking legal action. wish did not have to click stars to post!

  Hello! Thank you for taking the time to reach out. We diligently keep notes on each job we perform. I believe I know the job you are referring to. The roof leak existed prior to our roof installation. After meeting with the customer and a son of his, who was proficient in roofing, it was determined that the best course of action was to tarp a masonry wall as it had showcased itself to be the source of the leaks, not the roof. Prior to this review, we returned to the home and removed the tarp in an additional effort to source the leak not associated with our work. We have and will continue to assist your father until ALL issues are resolved, whether from our work or not.   Came out to tarp a 6" hole, the tarp was 3'×2', and it was done very professionally. That being said they charged me $300 for 15 min of work! WHAT A JOKE! IF U WANT TO GET WAY OVERCHARGED CALL THESE GUYS. I called, paid, and explained how ridiculous the charge was but i got some lame "I'll pass it on" and that was it.

  Zucca helped me with my roof replacement this last early Spring time. I had a great experience. I worked with Kenny from the start of the process until the job was completed and he was amazing. I knew nothing about roofs or the insurance/replacement process when I started but Kenny walked me through everything, making sure I understood the things I needed to know and was very patient with me. Kenny dealt with the adjuster, and pushed my claim through insurance when it probably could have been denied at the time. In the end he got it done with no issues. The crew who showed up were fast and respectful of the property. The job itself maybe took a half day longer than expected but I would always rather the crew take their time vs. rushing the job. I have a 50 year roof now and some real peace of mind.

  Working with Zucca was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. - and I have worked with a lot of them. After being ghosted by another roofer, I filled out a request on Zucca website on Sunday night, got a call from Amy on Monday, Zach looked at the project and got me a price on Tuesday, roofers showed up Thursday, it rained like crazy on Thursday night, I happily paid my bill on Friday. And he lived happily ever after. .. I have worked with contractors all my life and have never had a project go so well. Great advise, great workmanship and a fair price. This was a room addition and the match they recommended is perfect. Call them!

  We recently had our roof replaced by Zucca Roofing. It had been roofed by him 23 years ago and needed replacing. He had done a good job then, and we expected the same this time. We were not disappointed. He installed the roof in two days in a very professional manner and cleaned up after the mess. We did experience an unusual event. One of his roofing crew fell through the decking on the roof and broke through the ceiling in a bedroom! They took care of the mess on the bed and within the next week, they had it repaired and the ceiling repainted. The repair was done in a very professional manner, also. Wyatt, the owner, was very easy to work with. We would highly recommend his roofing services! As a side note, about two years ago we used his company to install seamless guttering and again was very satisfied with the job.

  If I could give them 10 stars I would. The continued partnership that Zucca brings is phenomenal. I have the privilege to work with Mr. Wyatt Zucca himself. The knowledge, and attention to detail he brings is a piece of mind you can’t put a price on. The front office team and rest of the owners are just as amazing.
