YS Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for YS Roofing.

Met with a sales rep at Professional roofers 1 week ago on Friday to get an assessment and quote on replacing the roof of my house. He told me he would have a quote to us either late that afternoon or on the weekend. It’s been 1 week and still no response, or quote received. We don’t choose you for our job. How reliable can you be if you can’t keep your promises to even provide a price?

Hello Mr Dave, first of all, I’m sorry that you have such a bad experience, but we are YS Roofing here, not “Professional roofer company “, Please verify the company name to avoid misunderstanding. If you need a quote for replacing you roof,we’re happy to provide you a free quote, thank you

Hi, sorry about the previous review on your business profile. We mistakenly confused your company with another roofing business. We've deleted our review and wanted to make things right by leaving you this 5-star review. Sorry for the mix-up, and we wish you all the best!

We recently hired YS Roofing for a major exterior renovation, including a new roof, new skylight, fascia, soffits, gutters, and siding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the very beginning, Simon (the owner), took the time to explain the products, the cost, the installation process, and what to expect, making sure we fully understood everything before the work began. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail gave us complete confidence in the project. The crew was outstanding! They were well organized, efficient, hardworking, and incredibly courteous. They worked through a heat wave without compromising the quality of their work and completed the entire project in just two days. They tidied up the work site at the end of both days work and were always friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. The quality of the workmanship exceeded our expectations, and the finished result looks fantastic. We highly recommend YS Roofing to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and fair priced roofing and exterior siding company. We would not hesitate to recommend Simon and his team to our family and friends.

My partner and I purchased our first home a few months ago and noticed that our roof started to leak and cave in on itself. This was extremely shocking as our inspection said it was all in order. After bringing this up with a close friend of mine, he recommended YS Roofing and I received Simon's contact information. I have to say, without a shadow of a doubt, that Simon and YS Roofing were the best decision we made to get the roof fixed. Simon immediately gave me a date to meet and access the roof. He was very professional and understanding of what we needed done. The estimate was very fair and work began quickly. We had our entire roof replaced in a day! The crew was very professional, they cleaned up after themselves and kept us in the loop for every step of the way. We ran into one hiccup where there was more rotting plywood that needed to be replaced. YS Roofing provided a reasonable price for the extra labour + materials that needed to be done. Overall I would highly recommend YS Roofing for any of your roofing needs. They are very quick to respond and plan a date for work to be done. They are professional, work well and offer a great price. 10/10!

Highly recommend Simon and his team! They replaced my shingles, repaired and improved the eavestrough and existing downspout, added two new downspouts, replaced roof vents, and even added leaf guards. Everything was completed efficiently in just one day and the property was left spotless afterward. What stood out most was Simon’s professionalism and patience. He took the time to answer all my questions before and during the project and made the entire process stress-free. Great workmanship, fair pricing, excellent cleanup, and very easy to work with. Simon and his crew did a fantastic job on my roof. When I called for a quote, he was over in an hour with samples and talked to me about his products and options. He inspected on top of my roof and helped fix my chimney cap too. He offers a strong warranty with industry leading products at a competitive price. I haven't tested the warranty yet, as nothing has gone wrong so far, though it has only been 2 days and 1 storm since installation. His crew did a good job at cleaning up the site and appeared when they said they would, and provided accurate time estimates for how long the work would take. I also felt assured that his business was providing a great service as he shared his WSIB/liability insurance certificates with me, without me having to ask. I am confident that YS Roofing's work will hold up and that they will honour their warranty if required. Would use again and recommend to my friends and neighbours. Services provided: replace asphalt shingles & underlayment, new eavestroughs & downspouts, replace chimney cap.

A new roof is one of the larger investments you will make in a property, so the installation needs to be right the first time. YS Roofing provides new roof installations for both residential and commercial buildings across Markham and the Greater Toronto Area. We work from the deck up, confirming that the structure is sound, the underlayment and flashing are correct, and the finished system is built to handle Ontario weather year round. As a GAF Certified Residential Roofing Contractor with 15+ years in the trade, we install premium roofing systems that carry stronger manufacturer warranties than standard installations. Whether you are building new, replacing a roof at the end of its life, or re-roofing a commercial property, we provide a clear proposal and timeline before the work begins.
