  Wormley Roofing robs disabled veteran of $10K roof job, installing new roof over bad flashing. I've sweat blood, through 9 careers in the Air Force then to civilian life, while the owner of Wormley Roofing has been doing roofs for 40 yrs, does my roof 2 years ago INSTALLED NEW ROOF OVER ALL BAD FLASHING, comes to my house to explain why he didn't replace the flashing, that he's not a general contractor, he doesn't do flashing. He could have hired a general contractor and done the right thing, but he would've had to split $10K profit with a general contractor. Applied flashing sealant of a few spots and left. Roof is still leaking through out all the flashings. This is what 40 years of roofing business looks like, they only care about money not people.

  I would literally not choose this company again if THEY paid ME. A horrible experience, from beginning to end. My wife is a night shift nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit, so she sleeps during the day on the nights she works. Therefore, the one thing we asked of Wormley Roofing was that they work with us on scheduling the roof repair so that they could do it on a day when she didn't need to sleep. They assured us that they would. The day before my wife was to start a three night stretch, they called and said that they would be starting work the next morning. When we told them that we could not do that, their response was basically, "Tough luck, we're doing it anyway." (Paraphrased) So with less than one day's notice, my wife had to try to make arrangements to sleep somewhere else (which she was unable to do). They were completely unwilling to reschedule for even a few days later, and since they had been given clearance by our management company (we are renters), they were going to proceed whether we liked it or not. All this despite repeated assurances that they would work with us, or at least provide some advance notice. They did neither. My wife ended up getting a total of three hours sleep over a thirty-six hour period, and so was forced to miss two nights of work. In hindsight this should not have been surprising, because from the day we were told that Wormley Roofing would be doing the work, every time we spoke to them they gave us a different reason for the eventual three month delay in getting started. Then when work was finally set to start, they gave us multiple different reasons as to why they wouldn't work with our schedule. It became clear that they didn't care about our schedule in the slightest, because our management company was the one writing the check. I completely understand that with all of the hurricane damage in the area, delays are inevitable. I have no problem with that. However, this company was more than willing to wait months and m

  Well, it's been a year since Wormley did our new roof, and we have no complaints. It looks as good as the day it was completed. We have had several heavy rain storms and no issues. The process was easy from the day we received our estimate until the roof was finished. All of the people we worked with were understanding and agreeable with our requests. The installers were at our house at 6:30 AM and worked pretty much nonstop until the old roof was removed, then they came back once they were given the inspector's word and again worked until the roof was complete and the area cleaned up. The price was fair, and I like that they stand by their products and the workmanship. If you're looking for a roofing company that's been around this area for a while, call Wormley.

  I’ve been dealing with Robert Wormly of Wormly Roofing for over 10 years. He has re-roofed at least 4 of my properties & many of my friend’s roofs. I don’t know how Wormly Roofing has managed to keeps his roofers all this time because the roofing industry is fraught with high turnover. Wormly Roofing must do as excellent a job taking care of it’s staff, as it has done on my many roofs. Robert is a delight to work with & I highly recommend his company.
