  I called Willow Ash with a problem concerning a third floor deck. My house is fairly new, but the third floor deck finish wasn’t done properly and In the beginning, this company was awesome. The owner, Ryan, came out and listened to my original vision and came up with a solution on how to fix it and assured me that he would find product that would create the finish that I was looking for. He sent me a quote of $2,400 which I had no reason to question because according to their reviews this company is great. I was sent a link for a deposit which I paid immediately. Once a product was found, colors were picked and a date was set (setting a date took forever) they were able to get to work. The problems really began with his worker, Jose. Jose came out and sanded down the original finish and properly (?) graded the deck. When the initial product went down it was not the correct color but I was assured that if I wasn’t happy once they were done, they would come back and lay another color on top. From here on out it took weeks to get the project finished. Whether or not Jose would show up was up to fate and I never knew if a guy I didn’t really know was going to show up at my house as I was getting ready for work. Initially, we noticed that cracks were starting to appear even before the job was finished. I was assured of a solution. It took a while for this new product to get shipped, but Jose finally came back with another product to put down that apparently was supposed to “fix” the cracks for good. In the end, I hated the color, but was told that it would cost more $$ to change the color even after I was assured it would be no problem to lay another color on top. Once the job was “done” or so I thought, I came upstairs to find that epoxy was on door, the door knob, hardwood floors and walls of the deck itself. I complained so the owner sent Jose back out to “fix” it but to this day there is *still* epoxy on surfaces of my home. At this point, I have to a

  Hi Sydnee, I’m sorry you had a bad experience. I’m not sure how long ago this was but just so you know, Willow Ash Roofing is under new ownership so that may have added to the communication issues if you were contacting the previous owner.

  Very unprofessional in getting an estimate in, and returning calls - Either in a meeting, or on the phone (obviously rehearsed by an office worker as a put off). After viewing repair work needed on a porch roof, an estimate was submitted two weeks later, when it was stated an estimate would be in two working days. The estimate did not even cover the major problem. The owner acted as though he knew everything when he was here, as though he invented the roof. Did not even know if there was flashing underneath the shingles and brick of the roof line. The estimate submitted said to put step flashing in this area. After looking at the estimate, I contacted the builder who said flashing was already in place, and any knowledgeable roofer would have recognized it. Beware of this company.

  Called and made an appointment to get a quote for roof repair. Received a call 3 hours before the appointment telling me they would not make it. When I asked why they stated because of weather. It was not raining at the time and was not forecast to rain that afternoon--but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. I reminded that I needed advance notice of a change or cancellation since I work 50-60mins away. On the day of the next appointment I left work to head to the house then realized I should probably call to confirm. Got a text back stating they needed to cancel again. No reason given. Would have been a no show if I had not called. My guess is they are not interested in making small repairs, something to keep in mind if you considered having them replace your roof, because sooner or later it will need a repair too. Don't waste your time -call one of the many other A rated contractors.

  Great experience. Fixed the leak issue we had, inspected the roof for wear and tear or other issues (none found), and installed gutters to help with drainage issue. Very punctual and professional

  Willow Ash roofing completed a metal ridge cap repair for my house. They were competitively priced, professional, navigated the complexity of my installation with ease.   "Highly recommend! I needed a roof leak repaired and an outdated chimney cap replaced. I called on a Wednesday, received an estimate and schedule by Friday, and the entire job was completed by the following Tuesday. They were incredibly responsive to all my concerns, and the work was finished perfectly to my satisfaction."
