Weather Built Homes provides written contracts, pricing, and cancellation rights in accordance with applicable requirements. Customers are encouraged to review all documents thoroughly before making a decision, and we welcome questions throughout the process. The claim that we intentionally target or take advantage of elderly customers is false and something we strongly reject. We strive to treat every customer with professionalism, respect, and transparency. If the homeowner has questions regarding their agreement, our office remains available to discuss the matter directly and work toward a resolution. We are proud to have served thousands of homeowners throughout Washington and Oregon and remain committed to providing quality service to every customer.

  I did not ask for them to contact me. They knocked on my door while we were not home, my wife gave them my contact through our Ring door bell so the door to door guy would leave. He told me that he saw some damage on our home while working …

  DO NOT HIRE WEATHER BUILT HOMES! I would highly recommend not using this company. As soon as we signed a contract everything from their sales pitch changed. These are dishonest people. They sold me by saying they were family owned, local, tons of experience, etc. But they didn’t even perform the work and they were not responsive. Imagine my surprise when some completely different company showed up to install my siding. The added price that I thought would bring a higher quality install was just used to hire a different contractor to perform the work. I had a far better quote from KVN, I would suggest using them if you’re looking to get siding done. KVN is a much larger company with tons of local experience. At the end of the day I got taken for a ride by Weather Built Homes. Don’t make the same mistake I did!

  Horrible company hires subcontractors does poor quality work overcharges gives you a bid then comes back after they took part of the roof off and raise the price of the roof by thousands of dollars. Could have lived without and dealt with that but then they also did the gutters and my nylon siding in my house overhang used to go behind my gutters now it drops and hangs where bugs insects and everything else can get up under there I've looked it up by law that required to repair the problem if they made the problem they are trying to refer me to a sheet metal company that will make more money and some other company do the work when it's their responsibility my house can get mold rot insects and bugs in it due to the shabby work. Do yourself a big favor find another company.

Like most licensed construction companies, we work with vetted, insured subcontractors who specialize in specific trades. All work performed was completed per the signed contract and approved scope. Regarding pricing, any additional costs discussed were the result of concealed conditions discovered only after work began, something clearly outlined in our agreement and reviewed with you before proceeding. As for the gutter installation, soffit or siding modifications behind existing overhangs were not included in the original scope of work. When concerns were raised, we recommended appropriate specialty solutions to ensure the best long-term outcome for your home rather than performing work outside our contracted scope. We take workmanship concerns seriously and made multiple attempts to address this directly.   When contacting the company to change our order we were put off many times, told they would call back (didn’t happen), they had meetings, the person wasn’t in yet, the excuses were endless. Never contacted us back. We were so put off by the experience we Ultimately chanceled the entire order. I’d say beware consumer.

  High pressure sales tactics very uncomfortable.

  Thank you for your feedback. I’ve extensively searched our records and, unfortunately, couldn’t find any information under your name. Even after Googling, the only Bryan Aguilar I could find was a professional athlete, which I’m pretty sure is not the same person! I did find a few records under similar last names, but these are from several years ago, and it’s possible we might have interacted with a relative of yours. Since this is your only review, it does make the situation a bit suspicious. If you could contact our office and ask for Jennifer, I’d really appreciate the chance to discuss your experience and address any concerns you may have.   I have been hesitant on writing a review because I'm not one to write poor reviews a lot. But we were excited to work with this company, the salesman was very nice at first and very patient. We enjoyed joking around and he was very charismatic, and probably very good at sales. Nearing the end of our time I said that we'd love to work with the company but it's just not in our financial interest right now, and would like to wait until the beginning of 2024 after we pay off some other debt. The salesman kept saying stuff like "I'm here for you, and don't want to harm or push you" yet that's exactly what he kept doing. I even said that I'm not comfortable with this and do not want to sign anything. He kept pushing and pushing and pushing. I initially thought we were just getting a quote, like every other roofing company we talked to. Not be pressured into signing anything right there. I eventually signed just to get him out of the house, and first thing in the morning I sent the contract in to retract it. It left such a bad taste in my mouth, and we probably would have worked with the company had he not pressured us so hard that night. Also, come to find out he gave us very false information about other roofing styles such as metal roofing. I called other roofing companies and asked their opinion and they told me very different information than the one he was saying. Also, the type of roofing he was selling is no different than other ones on the market, so why is it costing $22k when we could spend $8k?? Super scammy, we will not be working with them in the future. Really kind of sucks because the sales man was really nice at first.

  Evan Brewer of Weatherbuilt homes has done an exemplary job helping us get the best beginning to our new roof. He was very clear and explained in detail - with pictures- what was needed after an extensive look at our roof. He also listened and made possible an amount we could afford.
