Horrible to work with! No integrity at all, and completely unreliable.

Never called back or emailed anything. Will be going through someone else regardless of call back now

Dustin, it would appear that one of our team members had tried responding to your inquiry via email on 10/8/21 prior to this review. Regardless, however, it sounds like we weren't able to connect, so please feel free to reach back out. Thanks and have a great day.

After waiting seven days for an appointment, Wagner was unresponsive in getting back to us with their availability. If you need repair work, you may want to seek another resource.

They do not offer quotes for roofing to company's So you have to pick them or you are wasting your time calling. All roofing company's should offer a quote because only a roofing person would know what is needed to be fixed.

Monica, it sounds like there may be a little confusion here, so we apologize for any mix up that lead to your experience. With different solutions for different types of work, we have several offerings for service, inspections, and replacement estimates based on the contributing factors and the type of work involved. We offer quotes for work and budget estimates based on individual needs, so please feel free to reach back out for additional information and we will be happy to clarify further based on your needs.

I would not recommend trying to do business with this company. I signed a contract to have them come out to review and do roof maintenance on my 1920's tudor home at the new year. Three months later, after a dozen calls and emails I got me a bill for a visit when I wasn't home nor approved, an estimate for something I didn't ask, and still no estimate for what I need, and no work has been done. 3 wasted months, a $500 bill, and now I am searching for new roofing companies.

We would like to apologize for the experience you have had thus far. There seems to have been a communication breakdown, and having been in business for over 100 years, we take that very seriously. We are looking internally to improve the processes that have led to your experience and we would again like to make ourselves available to get you the information and solutions you are seeking from our trusted craftsmen. Please feel free to give us a call and we will be happy to help resolve this issue.

They are artists at Wagner Roofing. Our slate roof (which was a large part of the beauty of our house) was destroyed by large trees falling on it. Sergio knew exactly the types of slate we had and where to get them. They worked with our …

We interviewed perhaps 8 different roofing companies for work on our Wardman corner townhouse in DC, and Wagner was the clear leader for the work we needed -- putting a TPO flat roof on our house (above a slate mansard edge). In fact, a number of the others came over and said, "Umm, no, we can't do this. Try Wagner." We worked with Sam Nicolette at the office, who couldn't have stayed more on top of our job and on communication (sometimes multiple times a day) with us. The house is 100 years old, with multiple skylights punched through the roof, and it shares a party wall (and roof) with our neighbor. Intricate scaffolding went up, the men worked incredibly hard and were careful of our yard. They carefully peeled off the degraded roof (and bazillion patches) and surveyed for damage/rot/termites to the wooden structure underneath (thankfully there was none) and then recreated the roof, taking special care around the various (4!) skylights. Sam and the foreman even handled the difficult challenges raised by having to do only "half" a roof, as the neighbor's house took up half the flat roof (and was a different surface). The copper flashing work was beautifully done. While the work wasn't cheap, the work was worth the cost. Give Sam a call. He and Wagner are great.

Thanks, Susan! We agree, Sam is the man and we certainly appreciate you working with us, we love what we do. Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with in the future.
