  Extremely Disappointed With Home Genius Very dissatisfied with a company that prides itself on 100% customer satisfaction. We had our roof replaced by Home Genius on July 29, 2026, at a cost of approximately $27,000. Home Genius subcontracted the work to Willie’s Roofing, and unfortunately, the experience from the very beginning was extremely disappointing. During the tear-off process, workers dumped shingles into our garden, crushing our tomato, cucumber, and watermelon plants. We contacted the project manager, Anthony, about the issue. When he came to our property, he personally witnessed workers allowing shingles to fall into our outdoor condensing unit. There was also a miscalculation regarding the amount of plywood needed to repair a section of our roof that had deteriorated beyond repair. Because of this mistake, we were charged an additional $2,000. Despite all of these issues, the roof was completed that day and appeared to be satisfactory. Unfortunately, that did not last. On August 2, we experienced a major rainstorm, and our newly installed roof leaked. Water ran down the drip edge and between the wall and siding, flooding my son’s bedroom and the hallway. We had to clean up the water ourselves and immediately put dehumidifiers in place. I contacted Anthony by text on August 3, and he came to our property on August 4 to inspect the problem. He agreed that the drip edge and roof slope had not been raised sufficiently, allowing water to run into the walls. Then, on August 5, another rainstorm caused additional flooding in my child’s bedroom. I contacted Anthony again, but my message was left unread. On August 7, I contacted Home Genius customer care. I was told someone would contact me within 48 hours. No one did. I called customer care again on August 12 and was once again told that I would hear from someone within 48 hours. On August 14, Anthony finally contacted me and said he would get the issue resolved. He then stated that the problem was a

  Poor communication. For any updates I had to call to check in. I was told things when I asked but no action happened. Job was done sloppy and clean up was not good. Nails and debris left they used a blower instead of sweeping. I have a toddler who stepped on a nail and scraped leg on siding. Equipment was left in front yard with no organization. I had to straighten and clean up myself and get warnings from county. Minimal attention to detail when completing siding.

  Our team has returned multiple times to inspect and address the area around your chimney as a courtesy. At this point, the chimney itself has loose and deteriorated mortar that a qualified mason needs to repoint. That masonry repair is separate from your roofing project and must be corrected to properly address the source of the issue.

  Nico the project manager did an amazing job overseeing the whole project and stayed in direct communication with me! Update: August 17, 2026. There has been a few unfinished tasks that have lingered on now for several weeks. I am hiring someone else to clean up the job, and remove the excess material.

  So I was looking for a company to do my vinyl siding I went through maybe two and then I found home genius I think it was on Facebook and I called them made an appointment we started talking they showed me what they got what can they do for my house and then we got to the price and I immediately hire them to do the job and as you can see from start to finish my house looks beautiful all my neighbors are saying how beautiful it looks compared to the blue paint that I had so yes five star I gave them but if I would have gave them 10 I would have given them 10 Stars great company guys were awesome we got along very good they did exactly what I told him I want it done and they completed the job in two days maybe but yes I'm satisfied thank you home genius I appreciate you

  Home Genius Exteriors did our roof this past weekend, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the work. The pricing was flexible and worked with our budget. The crew was very respectful, answered all of our questions and did a phenomenal job. The step by step process was explained to us by our project manager Angel Martinez, he was very kind, friendly and helpful throughout the process. Our sales rep Mo was great, his presentation was very knowledgeable and informative very outstanding professional. We are more than grateful to HGE for the work and will absolutely consider using Home Genius in the future for our windows!

  Had new roof installed. Hotest days so far . 100 degree weather. Was very impressed with how they handled financing and how quick the service was. We met on a Thursday and the next Tuesday they was on the job. Very friendly guys considering the weather . Jason came out to take a final look and to answer any questions we had .
