  I was quoted $800 to reseal roof fasteners and fix flashing to stop roof leaks. After three visits by Waddle, the leaks were never fixed but I was still charged the full amount. Giving two stars instead of one because they did at least make several attempts to fix the issue, even though they didn't.

  A detailed review was ALREADY PROVIDED. This was a roof replacement and siding replacement spanning over a year. No additional reviews will be done. Previous 5 star review just went to 1 star due to your persistance. Please do not ask again.

  I was pleased the crew came to flush out my gutter - but I had been frustrated with all the miscommunication. At the onset, your rep, Tyler came and we talked about my gutter cleaning request. He told me a team would come out and do so. This was a Thursday. I thought I might hear back on when this would be scheduled within a few days. After a week I hadn't heard, so I called to find out the status. The person on the phone told me he'd have Tyler call me. Never heard from him. Called again the next day, Friday. This person I spoke with told me that she would have Tyler call me. Never heard from him. Waited again - Monday, Tuesday nothing. I finally I call back again on Wednesday. I asked the person if I could have a different rep - since I've heard from Tyler - to work with. From there, I was told I would hear from someone by Friday. Well, the next day, Thursday, I got a text telling me they could come out today! I was told I didn't need to be home at the time, for them to flush out my gutters. Later in the day, I wasn't sure if the crew had come and took care of this - because my driveway (with a couple of the downspouts) did not appear wet. I did see my gate slightly open, so I was pretty sure they were here. I was assuming they were, but was hoping to get some call for assurance. Did it go okay? Were my gutters still in good condition? I was afraid they might have been full of dirt or silt. Thought I might get a call. Nothing. So then I called yet again, to find out any update. This time the person told me she'd have the crew member, Jeremiah, call me. And I was pleased that he followed through and did so! I asked him if there were any troubles or problems, and he said no - everything flushed out fine. Consequently, my main complaint is the lack of follow-through with communication.

  Everyone was very nice. When they came out I was roughly quoted a price. I had to pester a couple times over two weeks for the actual estimate and it came in over double the original quote. I went with a different company that was slightly cheaper than the original quote. They asked months later if I was ready to move forward with the project that was already done by someone else and then to leave a review so here we are I guess lol.

  Waddle was doing some roofing for my apartment at Iowa State in early November and set our a barrier with caution tape and there is still tape left and now stuck in the trees. I previously brought it to the attention of the apartment manager as have several others as it had been weeks and no one had returned to pick up the siding or the tape barrier. Around a week later a group of employees with a waddle truck returned but despite having a elevator to reach the trees, still missed and left before removing a large portion of the tape that is still stuck in the tree today. I was home when they were removing the others and it seems to me laziness was the only factor that prevented them from removing all of the tape considering they were already elevated to the tree and removed a section of it but instead the one person who was already in the tree was waved down by the other and they both left leaving their trash half cleaned up. There remains a large piece of caution tape stuck high up in a tree out of reach of the residents. Lame

  Unfortunately as a local I expected this companies' customer service to reflect that but seems that's a lost art to Waddle. Really kind people but if you need something done in a timely fashion (less than 12 months) and updates on when work will be done look elsewhere.

  Positives include the actual workmanship by the crews to install new soffit, fascia and gutter. That part of the job was done correct. Negatives included lack of communication and delays. Multiple calls to a full voice mailbox and the person answering customer service each time could only say I'm on their schedule. Primary issue was half of my entire soffit and gutter on back of the house fell during a heavy rain storm at 3am in mid May. Waddle Exteriors came out the next morning to do a visual inspection then provide a verbal estimate saying it'd be 2-3 weeks before repairs could take place. I couldn't get them to at least take the rest down to avoid falling on my new AC unit and put up a temporary tarp/barrier solution during a week of forecasted severe weather. I was worried even more wind/water damage would occur and called multiple times asking what could temporarily be done even after putting 30% down based on the verbal estimate. I ended up having to get a different company out to place a temporary tarp cover on my exposed roof/attic then waited over a month and half for two different Waddle Exteriors crew to first install new soffit, fascia and weeks later a 2nd crew install new gutter. In hindsight I learned other companies do this type of work in one afternoon without any downpayment. They cut part of the temporary tarp off to install the gutter but I still have a strip of it nailed and left hanging on my roof with yet a 3rd call now required to another company to remove the strip of tarp and caulk the nail holes.
