  The first job I hired them to do was pretty good so I thought I would hire them again for further work. I had them fix the front gutter and window frame that was messed up before we got the house, and we needed a new front door. I had them come do an estimate and they gave me the amount. I told them I would get one done for sure and we would wait on the other job when we could afford it. The guy that came and did the estimate said they offer 0% interest if I could pay within a year. He said might as well get on the schedule and lock in the price. I talked to my wife and we decided to get both done. The first job did not go smoothly and to keep it short, they had to come back and fix it. I was surprised they thought I would just accept it like that but wasn't upset, just wanted it fixed. For the most part they fixed what my wife and I thought looked bad. I will include pictures of that. But they still didn't remove a piece of siding that was in the estimate and instead put a very thick, very messy caulk line and had very messy caulking all around (will include pictures). I didn't want to be difficult and the job was miles ahead of what they did the first time, so I figured I would fix it myself. Then we got the bill that said must be paid within 30 days. I called and talked to billing and they told me they didn't allow you to pay within a year unless you apply for financing. We were NEVER told this and we wouldn't have agreed to both jobs if we did. Very predatory billing practice, since we already signed the contract. I asked if we could wait until we got more money by my wife said it's better to not have them do the job. We looked and the only way to get out of the contract would be to pay a restocking fee. When we called they said they couldn't restock a strandard door and a door they didn't buy yet from menards, so we needed to pay for the doors. For one standard front door and a glass storm door they charged us 2k. Claimed it was custom since it was painted. The

  Your flatbed truck just passed me at a very high rate of speed on i80 today. The speed limits posted are for everyone's safety. As your name is on the vehicle it makes your company look terrible.

  My Review of TMJ Construction Our experience with TMJ Construction was frustrating, disappointing, and costly from start to finish. At first, working with Joey seemed promising, he was quick to respond and always had the “right” answers. Unfortunately, those answers turned out to be more about telling us what we wanted to hear rather than delivering on actual commitments. Several key promises were made early on but never kept. The problems started almost immediately. The quoting process was riddled with errors and required constant corrections. Crews were scheduled to start work on July 7, but didn’t arrive until one week later, which should have been the first major red flag. By July 28, the house was only half finished and left in an unacceptable state. To make matters worse, after the crew abandoned the project around July 16, a storm came through, flooding our home because the roof had been left open and unfinished. Job site conditions were careless and unsafe. Nails and trash were repeatedly left all over our yard and driveway, even after multiple requests to clean up. When one of the owners finally came on August 1, his approach was clearly polished and focused on damage control, not genuine accountability. His “solutions” felt more like a sales pitch than a sincere attempt to make things right. In the end, TMJ Construction walked away from a marginal -finished project, leaving us to deal with the fallout. We had to hire a professional cleaning crew to fix the interior mess they left behind, and bring in an electrician to correct multiple issues including a flooded exterior outlet box and improperly wired lighting, with only one exterior light working properly when they were done. If you expect craftsmanship, attention to detail, reliability, and a company that actually honors its word, look elsewhere.   I would stay away. Scheduled for hail replacement and it took 1 year before they did it. Had to have them come out multiple time to fix mistakes and have given up trying after complaining 3 times. Over billed me for a few things and won't work with your insurance to figure it out. Check every detail they send you and don't assume they read the insurance adjusters quote that you send them.

  I can honestly say I can’t find enough words to express how fantastic TMJ Construction is. Everyone else bid plain windows. TMJ came up with a spectacular design. Their crew was amazing. Very professional and patient with my questions. Brennan is a great leader. The rest of the crew were awesome as well. Nothing flustered them. Even hidden damage. You won’t go wrong hiring this company. They are the absolute best!

  Had a great experience. New roof and gutter on a garden shed. The price was very reasonable and the work was completed in a day. They left my place cleaner than when they found. Would definitely recommend!

  I was impressed with the employee that quoted our new gutters. He was knowledgeable and informative about what to expect. Once the quote was accepted they completed the work quickly and I was very pleased with the results.

  TMJ crews replaced our roof after a nasty hail storm a couple years ago. Very professional and hard working personnel. They completed our new roof in one day ! I would recommend getting in touch with TMJ for your next roof .

  We had TMJ put on a new roof while we were away. We are so pleased. The installation crew did a great job, and it looks beautiful. Clean up and removal of old shingles, etc, was expertly done. We couldn't even tell they had been there! Thank you for a job well done!

  From having to deal with our second hail storm and insurance claim within 4 years TMJ made everything run smooth. From the first contact to the last I always knew what the game plan was. New roof and siding repairs went smooth and painless. Would recommend to anyone.

  Connor & his team were fast & easy to work with. They were on the roof around 7 & done before noon. He & his crew have been working together for years & they are precision.
