  Please be careful when hiring, having 100's of positive reviews in such a short amount of time can be a sign of fake reviews in my experience. I hired Up and Over Roofing for a full roof replacement that included dormers leaking, and the experience was extremely frustrating from start to finish. Communication and project management were inconsistent. The project appeared to lack supervision, and coordination between office staff and field crews was poor. After the roof was replaced, leaks around the dormers continued. Several follow-up visits did not fully resolve the issue, and explanations kept changing by shifting blame to the siding, dormers, etc. A proper water test was never performed before or after the work, which would have helped identify the source of the problem. The ongoing issues caused added time, expense, and frustration. I’ve included photos that show numerous visible underlayment from inside the attic — something that should never happen after a properly completed roof installation. These photos accurately reflect the quality of work I experienced. In my opinion, this project demonstrated poor oversight and workmanship. I would personally not use this company again **Reply to owners review. I appreciate your response, but several points you made don’t accurately reflect what occurred during my project, your review is different from what I was told and experienced. I was never told dormers need be removed or it will affect the roof performance, not once was I told this. If I was told that why would I pay tens of thousands for a roof and want a leaking roof? From my experience this contractor will not take ownership of their failures and they change their answers when confronted. The leaks started immediately after the new roof was completed and have continued despite several return visits. My concern has always been about workmanship, lack of project management oversight and communication. My photos clearly show numerous spots of visible und

To clarify, the dormers were not part of the original roof replacement, as you specifically requested they remain untouched despite our strong recommendation to have them removed. This recommendation was made to prevent the exact type of leaks you are now describing. All project details, including materials, scheduling, and the dormer discussion, were clearly communicated before work began. Our team, including the business owner and several technicians, performed multiple on-site inspections and water tests to identify any issues. While we always strive to work with customers to find a resolution, this has been an ongoing matter for quite some time, and you have repeatedly declined to follow the professional recommendations necessary to correct the issue. At this point, we believe we’ve done all we can to assist and will not be continuing further business. We stand by the quality of our work and the professionalism of our staff.

  Miss "Lisa W" please specify what project or service you are referring to? We work hard for every word people put in their reviews about us , and strive to remedy and always provide excellent service. Your review without any specifics and not even identifying the service you hired us for is not fair to our Team . Looks too much like a disgruntled competitor or a customer who makes a small business question why they even show up for work, hire people and try to survive in todays world... Which are you ? Are you the non payer , who got a window replacement estimate and then a week later hired them to pressure wash and then blame your old yellow, broken seal on the windows, on our exterior pressure wash job ? We are reporting this review , unless of course you would like to come back with more specifics and dates , maybe pictures? Today is a good day to begin being kinder to yourself and others........

  New Roof after just one year with end cap flashing flapping in the wind on top of shingles. Other shingles flapping in the wind at corners. Crew finished the roof in the dark after starting the job around 3 pm last summer and look at the result in the picture. Nobody ever came to inspect their work which they claim to do on their radio ads. They offer a warranty but opted to have true professionals make the repairs.

  Response from our Team to some false facts above : False Statement # 1 - Mr Whitt DID NOT purchase a "NEW ROOF" as he states above - he received 2 estimates - one for a ROOF REPLACEMENT (17k) - which would be then warrantied with our Lifetime Labor Warranty and Atlas Manufacturers Warranty . Instead of purchasing a New Roof, Mr Whitt had a small section repaired for $1100 . We believe this review should be removed by the author , but if not convinced yet - here are more facts : #2 - even though Mr Whitt DID NOT have any roof warranties - his call was taken seriously and Linda ( our office manager) was working on scheduling one of our techs to come out . So our team decided to help this gentleman , but the review above seems omit the fact that we did not refuse to come out - we were concerned with our techs going out in the middle of a hurricane , while working to schedule anyway. 3 - Apparently we were not moving fast enough on something we DID NOT HAVE TO DO . so when a call come in Friday during hurricane and this unfair review is written on Tuesday (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) - less than 2 business days..... 4- Mr Whitt had called another business ( without a business license anywhere on the grand strand and not licensed by SCLLR . it was roof salesman who used to work for us !!!!!!!!!) over the weekend and proceeded with this review on Tuesday. We work very hard to provide excellent service to our customers , We are proud of our Team and the work we do . The fact that someone can just publicly make false claims and leave a bad review this easily is very discouraging as if operating a small business , doing everything the right way , paying taxes , providing jobs , being fully licensed and insured is not hard enough already .

  We have a very complex phone system, it keeps records of ALL incoming/outcoming/missed calls/voicemails. Besides our phone system we have GOOGLE , who kindly tells us every day how many calls were missed /answered/etc. In the time that it took to seep through every single name(yes we have caller ID ) - we could not find any missed calls (let alone voicemails , which come with an email transcript)from CHUCK/CHARLIE /SLOAN…… none. Searched from February 3(beginning of the Home Show) and ended our search date February 24( date of this review) . Sir, with all due respect , our phone number is (843)222-4607 - or you can click CALL on this GOOGLE listing where you took the time to leave a bad review instead of going to our site and filling out CONTACT ME FORM . Our Team works hard every day to provide excellent service from start to finish , so for the record - you have not received a bad service- you simply couldn’t get in touch .

  Very satisfied! Done in one day with a large crew. I got Atlas shingles and love the warranties on both labor and materials. Jake the onsite supervisor was AWESOME! He kept me informed throughout the whole job and was very courteous. I would highly recommend Up & Over Roofing with 30 years experience as a General Contractor including the last 12 years doing just roofing in Myrtle Beach.

  My experience with this business started with calling Natalia Merolle. She was quick to reply, gracious and informative. I explained the roofing needs were for my 88 yr old mom who lives in Murrells Inlet. My brother Chris and sister Virginia who also live in the area were the points of contact. My hours at the hospital were not conducive to being at her home. Mr. Merolle and his crew inspected the roof and submitted their estimate. My siblings said their plan was head and shoulders above the competition. After permission from the HOA they were able to start on the roof immediately... They also installed new gutters and removed the old skylight and put in a new one with an automated blind. Their clean up after completing the job was flawless, not a nail or roof tack to be found on the site. I would recommend this business to anyone that needs these services.
