  From my experience this is a complete scam. What happened: Caĺled to make an appointment for an estimate of roof repair (a leak). A repairman came out and after inspecting the roof and taking pictures of the spots that needed to be repaired quoted an average price of $3000 for the fix. I was shown the pictures which presented a badly damaged very cracked roof that had nothing but tar coating. I declined signing the contract right there and then for the repair because I wanted a second opinion. I was told the pictures will be ⁶ to me. They never were. Upon anoher opinion and a friendly look at my roof with pictures in hand I now realize Universal representative presented me with completely fake pictures.It was not my roof. He was just trying to take advantage of an elderly woman. Edit: How do you know you do not have have any record of me when you cannot tell who I am - this review is practically anonymous. I do, however, have multiple emails from your company that were sent prior to the appointment as well as a call record. So, once again you proved yourself to be dishonest.

  Had a leak in my eave space on my cape that was patched and it still leaks intermittently if the wind is blowing the right way. Every time it rains, I need to crawl into the space to make sure it is dry which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Universal came back 1 time when it was not raining to inspect the location, so it wasn't leaking, but I have sent videos and messages after the repairs were made showing that it still sometimes drips which have gone unanswered. Overall, would not use them again.

  Hi Ryan, I feel bad that you’re feeling this way but when you first called about the leak, I came right away to inspect the leak. I care about my customers and always want to ensure satisfaction. The day I came to your house to check on the leak, it was raining earlier in the day. I went to the attic space and I was not able to find anything at all, everything was nice and dry, free of leaks. I believe you remember that we talked about it and said to keep an eye on if anything shows up again so I could come and take care of the problem. I never heard back from you and I am unable track all my customers if they don’t call and let us know about the issue they’re having. It was pleasure doing business with you and we would love to help with any future needs. I can come again to take a look if you think there is a leak on the area that we repaired but you have to call or text me on a rainy day so I will be able to see where the leak is. Thank you again.

  The flashing around my chimney is not done correctly, they put it on top of the shingles and slathered silicon on all over it. They damaged the shingles on the side of my house a instead of replacing the broken ones they just slathered …

  New post… Have used Universal Building Group for many years now for several jobs. Had siding done. Looks like a different house! Guys do great work and obviously take pride in their work. And it shows. Have received several compliments from freinds, family, neighbors and even our mailman! Thank you Artan and your crew! Had chronic leaking roof/gutter issue and rain was coming into house thru window. After I made several attempts to troubleshoot and fix the problem, the leak continued so I called Universal Roofing. I wanted to use a local roofer. Came promptly to look at roof, gave fair quote and scheduled day and time to come to repair. Showed up on time and completed job and leak has stopped. Will definitely use again if needed and would definitely recommend! Thank you.

  Great company. We used them a few years back and they remembered us this time which was nice. A little delayed response after the initial follow up, but was great once they did get back to us. The price was reasonable, the men were kind and they did a great job. We’ll definitely be calling them if we need any additional work !

  I highly recommend this company. They have been honest and responsive to us over the years. They did our roof about 7 years ago and have come to do other minor jobs since then. Their prices are fair and service is professional. I’ve recommended them to friends and have only had good feedback.
