  I contacted Right Angle Roofing on their website on Sunday 01/12/26. Today is 01/13/26 at 9pm. No one ever got in contact with me with regards to my repair issues. The company came highly recommended by one of their customers. It would have been nice if someone had the decency to reach out to me. SMH! I found another company that was recommended to me that i called yesterday and they were here today to give me an estimate on my roof repairs. I guess Right angle roofing is not looking for repair jobs, buy just big money work. That's to bad and very unprofessional!!!!!

  I have a new roof installed , work was not done properly considering the amount paid , had leaks in the house due to poor work and him cutting corners and not replacing flashing and plywood when new roof was done also noted in the contract. Maxwell the owner is very rude, very unprofessional and condescending . When I called to have the issue fix due to poor work being done, I was met with an unbelievable attitude and unprofessionalism. He then referred me to third party , never taking responsibility for the poor job done by his company. He is not a good person and doesn’t really cares . Apparently I am not the only one complaining about his behavior and work. Homeowners please read bad reviews they are accurate , do your own research and consider hiring a better contractor that cares for his clients and stands by his workmanship. In a world where basic customer service is expected he falls extremely short of basic standards. Rude, condescending, unprofessional, untrustworthy to say the least. The respond posted bellow to this complaint is inaccurate. Maxwell is rude and very unprofessional , I never heard a professional business owner speaking to clients in this manner and I quote : “ I am trying to help you I can be your friend or your worse enemy “ “Good luck contacting GAF they are a billion dollar company and do not care about little complaints. I will see you in court “”if I send someone in the rain they might fall and I will have to sue you” Really? This was clearly your company’s mistake. After the rain no one from your company even bothered to come GAF has other certified contractors which I highly recommend exploring, they are very professional and trustworthy. They came right away in the rain to assess the issue. For his company to make it seem on the bellow comment that he tried to help is false and NOT an excuse for his poor behavior and lack of response on his end.

When you first contacted our office about a leak, our assistant offered to send someone to your property as soon as the rain stopped — for safety reasons, we cannot inspect or repair roofs during active rain. You were also provided with the GAF warranty phone number, as your roof is covered under their manufacturer warranty. This was intended as an additional resource, not a deflection of responsibility. After you expressed intent to pursue legal action, Maxwell, the owner, personally called you to address your concerns directly. Regarding your claim that plywood was not replaced: replacing damaged plywood is a standard and essential part of our process. We always replace plywood when necessary and charge accordingly, as outlined in your signed contract. If any plywood was noted for replacement in your agreement, it would have been documented and completed as part of the job. We take pride in our work and do not cut corners. We’re committed to quality and transparency, and we regret that you feel otherwise. Our team remains open to resolving issues respectfully and through proper channels.

  I am a very private person and don’t write reviews, I am sure this post will cause me grief from the very aggressive owner Maxwell at Right Angle but feel I folks should be aware. They did an average job on my house, at best. The trouble came weeks after they completed the job… 1- when air conditioning season hit, I found out they cut the wires installing the siding and it cost me $500 to fix 2- today Optimum is here to fix internet issues I have been having, the technician informed me that when the siding was installed they moved things damaged the line and it needed to be replaced. I am writing this to let folks know that even if things appear okay when the folks leave that may not be the case as time goes by. Just know they are not a true 5 star review company and the owner is a bully and rude.

  I had my roof replaced in December 2023 at a cost of $ 50,750 and have had 6 leaks since. Customer satisfaction is unknown by the owner of the company, Maxwell Rothaus. The workmanship is very poor, the leaks have caused damages inside the house but Maxwell couldn't care less. Do not use this company

Regarding the recent complaint, we would like to clarify the timeline and details from our records: Our company was contacted about a leak issue on three separate occasions. In each instance, we responded and performed the necessary repairs in a timely manner. The customer has stated there were six leak reports; however, our service logs and communication history confirm only three. It was brought to our attention that a third-party contractor applied a product (“Flex Seal”) to the roof without our knowledge. This alteration unfortunately voided the original workmanship warranty, as it interfered with the roofing system’s integrity. Additionally, several issues were reported months after they allegedly occurred, making it difficult for us to properly assess and respond within the expected timeframe. We stand by the quality of our work and our commitment to customer service. While we regret any dissatisfaction, we believe we have addressed each concern as it was presented to us and within the terms of our warranty agreement. If there is any further information you need from us, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

  Great company and a great owner! I manage a complex in Farmingville, NY, and had 5–6 roofing repairs throughout multiple buildings. The owner of Rite Angle Roofing was great to work with from start to finish. His communication was excellent, he showed up when he said he would, and he was right up on the roof with his crew getting the job done. The repairs looked great, everything was cleaned up when they finished, and you can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommend Rite Angle Roofing—well done!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
