  I had this company do a large roof that was insurance work several years ago. At the same time I had them do a small flat roof over my garage. The flat roof began leaking last August leading to the roof in the garage falling in. After many ignored messages and phone calls I got ahold of them and they finally sent someone out to look. Then I never heard back. I have been trying to call them for the last 2 weeks with no response. I tried calling today and all their numbers are disconnected. I assume that they have gone out of business which will likely render their warranties unenforceable. What an unethical company. I believe their owner is Jared Huston. I would make sure any company you do business with is not owned or operated by him. Incidentally they claim 25yrs in business however were incorporated in 2019.

  This company did my neighbor's roof. I have debris from when they pulled the old shingles and tar paper all over my backyard. They just threw the old off the roof and some of it landed in my backyard. Very unprofessional to do that to a property they aren't working on and don't have permission to be on.

  Poor work and lack of honesty and follow-through. Avoid this company. Maybe they were okay in pat, but definitely not now. Avoid them.

  My project included scarify/recoat of my flat foam roof, replacing the underlayment and relaying existing tiles. Since a dumpster was already going to be placed for the project, I also asked if a non functioning swamp cooler could be removed from the roof, which the team did successfully and repaired the hole it created from the removal. The scarifying and recoat, was successful (after the 2nd visit) to correct peeling coating and stagnant water present 3 days after rainfall. What is most disappointing is the tile roofing design was changed without my approval. I now have hideous cement caps at the bottom of my hip ridge line (which also required rework to be corrected from the original off centered placement of the last tile run) and a mix of round and square tiles along the ridge cap lines. My project started in October, and I am still waiting for the cement caps to be painted in order to look like I have a finished roof, albeit the cheapest looking roof on the block. All in all, I do not have any roof leaks, but would not recommend United Contracting for tiled roofs.

When you submitted your review however, I did inform my production team of the issues, and I know that they are coordinating with you to rectify as much as we can, and hopefully you will be happy with the finished product. There are only a few things that can be done at this point to resolve the aesthetic concerns you have, but I assure you, we will do what we can. There are sometimes hurdles with projects such as yours, but as you mentioned, we did remedy the ones we experienced during you project. And the concrete caps are a requirement of the installation procedure, in accordance with both the manufacturer specifications, and the applicable building codes for tile roofing installation. I'm sorry if you do not find them visually pleasing, but we actually go far above and beyond industry standards, using a customized concrete product with greater adhesion and compressive strength, which does not crack or crumble in the harsh environment on your roof. Moreover, we train our installers to finish the caps smoothly, to offer the best possible appearance. No other contractor in the valley goes to these lengths (That we know of) and for this reason, you can be sure that our concrete caps look far better than they would have with any other contractor. We take real pride in all of the work we perform. As far as the inconsistent shape of your tile, we did install the tiles per manufacturer's specifications, and if there are any discrepancies between those specifications and the roof we installed on your home, we will absolutely rectify them!   I am in maintenance at an apartment complex and during the first round of monsoons that I got back in August I had a major roof leak. I worked with these guys and they are very professional punctual and direct. Definitely recommend. Now we have had recent rains and it has remained water tight.

  Big thanks to Alex and the team! After the monsoons, my roof needed to be replaced and Alex made the decision whole process so easy. He helped me deal with my insurance, which was a lifesaver. Roof looks great now!

  United replaced my roof in 2022, with the monsoon winds i had some tiles lift. I called the office and Erik was at my door in under 1hr! Minor repair completed fast and efficient!! Fast, responsive and very nice!! Highly recommend!

  United Contracting Group exceeded my expectations on quality of work, when replacing my roof. The thing that sets them apart from other contractors is the excellent customer service I received, from Nate Manley. Nate coordinated with my insurance adjusters, followed up when promised, showed up on time, and made my roof replacement painless. Nate's professionalism and integrity are unmatched. My roof is beautiful and functional an excellent combination. Nate is a real feather in the cap of United Contracting Group. My one regret... I only have one roof. Thank you so much!!

  I am so very pleased with this company. These guys did an awesome job start to finish. I was a bit skeptical at first when I was initially approached by this company, but I did my research online and decided to give the insurance claim process a chance. I am so glad I did, the whole experience was pleasant and easy. They got the whole project paid for by my insurance, and upgraded the roof to a beautiful concrete tile. I was told that all I had to do was pay my deductible at the end as long as I was happy with the workmanship and quality of material. They honored their word and did an amazing job installing and cleaning up the house. I am so grateful I answered the door that day and give these guys a chance. Once the process was done I recommend them to my Mother-in-law and she is just as pleased! Thank you United Contracting Group and your crew for the quality work.

  Had a great experience with United Contracting. They installed a new roof on our building and did so quickly. They were very responsive during the whole process and when we had our first rain and an issue arose (which turned out not to be a roof issue) they came out within 30 minutes and were able to help us out. I was so pleased with their service that I had them do a project at my house as well.
