Tonys Roofing quoted $5,900 for a roof repair after a leak. They just slapped tar over the problem and the ceiling stained again next rain. Left scrap metal and shingle pieces all over my yard. Tried to get them to honor the “5 year warranty” and they blocked my number.

We take every review seriously, so we searched our records carefully and this one doesn't match any customer, job, or invoice we have on file. We've also never charged $5,900 for a repair; at that price a homeowner would be looking at a full roof job, not a patch, so the details here don't correspond to any work we've actually done. Tony's Roofing has built its name on responsiveness and transparency, and every customer we've worked with can reach us directly at 503-415-0438. If there's a genuine concern behind this, we'd welcome the chance to address it. please contact us and we'll respond right away. In the meantime, we've reported this review, as it doesn't reflect a real experience with our company. Tony's Roofing

We had a moss treatment and gutter cleaning scheduled for one of the only sunny, dry days during the week. Nobody showed up for the appointment, and my husband ended up waiting for hours for a team member from Tony’s. After realizing that …

Our roof was due for a change so I looked at several roofing contractors for a replacement. Tonys was one of them, and Erick came out and gave us a very competitive estimate so we decided to go with Tonys. I had a bit of a leak before work started so I called Erick to see if he can help me put up a tarp in the meantime. He had his boys came early the next day to help me put a tarp (this happened twice because I miscalculated where the drip was but Erick helped me with both times in a very prompt manner). I had a very pleasant time working with Erick and his crew, he was very communicative when I needed info on something. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner, and I asked a lot on this project. Erick made this entire project as painless as possible and I would highly recommend any of my friends and neighbors of his company. Thanks again brother, the roof came out great and I told you that I would leave you a big fat 5 star review.

I worked with Erick Uzusa for the quote and coordination. I received three bids and Tony’s quote matched a competitor almost to the dollar. What they offered that tipped the scales in their favor was a 50 year warranty on the roof materials …

I called for an estimate. Tony showed up the same day and started the job 4 days later. The roof was stripped and re-roofed in the same day. The crew were very professional and hard working. The pricing was great! I highly recommend using this company and will use them in the future.

Excellent work from Tony's roofing on my small, old, SE Portland home. Full deck replacement including decking, chimney removal, and gutter replacement. Erick was timely and answered all of my questions. Marco and his crew were so efficient and did great work. Everything was wrapped up in 2 long days. Prices were reasonable, and lower than several other bids. 10/10 recommend this team.

Excellent quality work for a reasonable price. We selected Tony's because a part-owner showed up for the estimate. They didn't send any salespeople to pressure us. They were honest and fair in their pricing. We couldn't be happier with the final outcome. They truly provided outstanding craftsmanship and should be proud!

Received a quote for tear off and replacement of Shingles, gutters and plywood replacement and quote included 20% Senior discount. The roofers did an exceptional job and the finished job and completion was a definite 5 stars. Very happy with Tonys Roofing!

3.5/5 I had Tony's replace my roof in the Fall of 2024. The Good: So far, there haven't been any leaks and the new roof looks good. The prices were also on the lower end of all the bids I received. Additionally, the gentlemen doing the work were respectful of the neighborhood. The project manager was friendly enough and always returned my emails quickly. Not so Good: -I have an external vent pipe that runs up the exterior of my house and through the roof. In the process of reroofing, this pipe was moved to one side side and not put back in its original location. So, when they were finished there was a blatantly angled pipe on the side of my house. It's right next to a downspout so it was extremely apparent. To their credit, they sent someone to fix the pipe quickly, but they did a poor job and it still isn't plumb. The laborer had a kid assisting him and they used a beat up cheapo plastic level, so when they were done the pipe is still crooked. When I reported this to Tony's, I was told they did the best they could. I chose not to press the issue, so maybe they would have fixed it properly if I had. -The laborers were also a little careless during the tear off phase. I was home and I watched many pieces of metal bounce of the side of my freshly painted house. Easy enough fix with some touch up paint, but geez. -I also found quite a few nails around my property when they were done. I realize its not possible to get everything, but there were multiple nails and staples clearly laying in my driveway, which should be a place where a person places some extra emphasis on picking up nails for obvious reasons. - I also had them replace a section of gutter and they used a subcontractor. The gutter was installed with a significant drop at the far end, so water pooled up and couldn't drain. To their credit, Tony's sent out the subcontractor to fix the mistake and I have yet to closely examine the repair, but I think it might still not quite be correct.

Hi Zach, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. At Tony’s Roofing, we strive to ensure our customers are satisfied at every phase of the process—from the initial meeting and scheduling to completing the work and delivering a final product that meets the highest standards. We’re glad to hear that you’re pleased with the appearance of your new roof and appreciated our competitive pricing. Providing quality work at an affordable price is one of our top priorities. Regarding the concerns you mentioned, we’d like to address them: Removal Phase: During the tear-off phase, we took every precaution to protect your property, including tarping and securing areas to catch debris, which is especially important when removing three layers of shingles. While some debris during a project of this scale is inevitable, we are always prepared to address any resulting property damage at no cost to the homeowner. We also ran our rake magnet to collect nails and staples, paying particular attention to areas like the driveway. We were not made aware of any issues during this phase, but if you had brought them to our attention, we would have promptly addressed them. Gutter Installation: As disclosed during the quoting process, we utilized a subcontractor for your gutter replacement. While the initial installation required adjustments, we stand by the work with a warranty to ensure your satisfaction. Additionally, we cleaned the gutters after installation, though some debris in downspouts is common. Vent Pipe: When you raised the issue with the vent pipe, we responded quickly to make adjustments. We regret if the resolution did not meet your expectations. Our team is always available to revisit and ensure concerns are fully resolved. We are committed to making sure every customer is pleased with their roof—not only in the way it looks but also in how the entire process is managed. If these concerns had been brought to us directly at any point, we would have worked with you

We got a few estimates to replace our roof. The gentleman from Tony's was a gentleman. He actually recommended that we NOT replace our roof, said we could get 5 more years out of it. One of their competitors was being VERY pushy about getting it replaced. The employee from Tony's was also talking options before he got up on the roof, unlike the competitor who was pushing a much more expensive shingle. My boss recommended Tony's to me and echoed a similar experience. He said they gave him options, were not pushy and their estimate was the lowest. He also said they did good work, was pleased with the finished product.

Tony's Roofing were one of four companies we evaluated when considering a new roof for our North Portland century house. Erick Perez came out quickly, walked the roof (not just drone), talked through our options, and promptly sent us a highly detailed quote, which was the second lowest we received. He communicated with us frequently and answered our questions promptly. The crew arrived on-time and was respectful of our property; they did no damage to our home during the tear-down or at any time. They did a beautiful job with the plywood decking (it is seamless!) and the roof is perfectly flat, with special attention paid to small eave details on the vintage construction. We are thrilled with the results and would recommend Tony's Roofing to anyone.

I had a great experience with Tony's roofing. Erick took a lot of time assessing my older 1946 house and was very knowledgeable. I did not go with the lowest quote because other companies were not as thorough. The work crew did a great job. I love my new roof!
