  My experience was extremely frustrating due to a significant lack of communication and coordination between Interstate and the subcontractors who actually performed the roofing work. Once the contract was signed, the salesperson virtually disappeared and never followed up with me regarding the project. He also offered a 15-year workmanship warranty, which the company initially refused to honor until I provided screenshots of our conversation proving it had been promised. Before the project started, I requested the installation of two additional bathroom exhaust vents through the roof. I discussed this with the project manager on the first day, and again on the second day. Each time, I was assured that it would be taken care of. However, as the subcontractors were preparing to leave at the end of the project, I asked whether the exhaust vents had been installed. They informed me that no vents had been added because they had not been told to do so. As a result, they had to reopen sections of the newly installed roof, cut additional holes, and complete the work at the last minute. This clearly demonstrated the lack of communication within their team. To make matters worse, one of my gutters was damaged during the project. Rather than taking responsibility, Interstate attempted to blame my painters without any evidence. I was not seeking financial compensation or a discount, but their unwillingness to acknowledge the damage spoke volumes about their integrity. Interstate also claimed that a final inspection of the roof had been completed. However, I have security cameras around my property and never observed anyone performing such an inspection. Had someone actually inspected the work, they likely would have noticed the damaged gutter. Overall, my experience left me with the impression that Interstate is more focused on securing contracts than on customer satisfaction or quality control.   Sean was a terrible sales guy to work with, took several phone calls , 3weeks and the chat with the manager to line up the job after contract was signed. Fortunately, their field workers are making up for the unacceptable business handling,…but what would you do without your southern workforce?!

  Started a project for 2 downspouts for our business back in October 2023. 1 downspout was completed almost as soon as the material showed up. The other downspout was pushed back multiple times. Was finally told it would be completed march 2024. Here we are June 2024, and they have stopped replying to my request for a completion date.

  Looks like they’re onto the next building in my complex and don’t want to pickup staples, nails and roof bits. There are only 3 units out of 12 in HH at H.H. that DON’T have small kids. It’s seriously part of your job - please be mindful of the children and families when you’re done. I’ve swept and picked up nails all week, this is what I walked by this morning (roof completed, roofers on the next building). Please have a worker on site come sweep up their mess.

  Hi Rudy, I am terribly sorry that there was confusion with our rates. We did email you on Thursday 12/14 at 2:57pm with our rates. In that email we requested you contact our office to schedule the tarping. We also stated our rates on the phone with you when you called in to schedule the tarping. Our rates are also available on our website. We charge $325 for the first hour and $225 each additional hour, plus the cost of materials. Our billable time starts when we leave our shop and start driving to you. Upon completion of the work we send you an invoice via email and you are able to dispute any changes then. If unpaid after 30 days we charge the credit card that we took when you requested service. Your work was performed in December, no payment was received or disputed so your credit card was charged. We did all we could to inform you of the rates up front. It is unfair for you to accuse us of things in a review that did not occur and are false statements.   Wow, what a difference a year or so can make. We had Interstate when we had a leak and we thought it was fixed and initially very pleased with them. However, a few months later the same spot started to leak again. When I called about it I was told we were "out of the warranty" period. So we paid again to fix the same spot (and their prices had gone up). Yet again, here we are less than a year later and the EXACT spot started leaking again. Not wanting to give Interstate anymore of our money we had a different roofer come out and he said the work Interstate did didn't address the actual issue. So we are now out of pocket thousands of dollars. On another note, we also recently had Interstate install a skylight. They were our contractors choice for install, and the price was VERY high, but as our contractor scheduled the work we reluctantly agreed. Despite our contractor doing all the framing for the skylight on the day of install they cut the hole in the roof wrong and didn't even clean up after themselves. When we called to have them come back and fix their mistake the guy on the phone was extremely rude and played the blame game on our contractor. Sadly, I guess this is where customer service is at in 2022. Beware and shop around.

  Had someone come out to look at some warranty issues, another company pointed out. The staff person was rude and condescending. Said there was nothing wrong with their work. Will have to have someone else come out to look at the work and pay to have it fixed.

  I paid 700 for tarping. Then the roof inspector came, who was clearly a salesman, to not look under the tarp and tell me I needed a whole new roof. Guess what? I don’t. The company that did the original inspection came, trouble shot and did repairs. Also the salesman said he would be in touch with a quote for the roof. I was never contacted. Don’t waste your time.

  It was a pleasure working with Interstate Roofing on my roof replacement project. The existing cedar shake roof was large and complex. The salesman, Chaba, was both knowledgeable and professional. He quickly prepared the estimate and was very patient in dealing with my numerous questions. Once the contract was executed, the office staff I dealt with handled the communications and scheduling without flaw. The installers worked efficiently and with care. The roof looks beautiful. All in all a great job done by all involved!

  I recently had Interstate roofing out to look at a repair they had done two years ago. It had failed. My plywood had buckled for reasons unknown. Same plywood, same area. One of the owners, Shelley, called me and promised to honor the work with additional charges only to be applied if new problems turned up-I'm paraphrasing for brevity. Luis, the superintendent and I looked at the issue. He and his two roofers, Edwin and Raul agreed on the simplest fix. I watched out of my skylight and was impressed with the effort and care Edwin took. He and Luis continually talking about the process and how best to get it to hold until I replace the roof in 1-2 years. All in all I was quite happy with it though I am a little worried about the plywood. It had quite the upwards bend, about three inched curved up. They told me if it does end up popping up to give them a quick call but that it should hold me over as they fastened it down quite tight. These employees struck me as very dedicated to doing a good job!

  Outstanding work. Very thorough, good follow-up on each day of work. Initial bid was better than those we compared to, and in the end, it was even lower cost than the bid. The workers were fast and very good at what they did.

  The original estimate from Chaba Corona was on time, detailed, and provided a great description of the worked to be performed. Communication with interstate roofing was also 5 star. The actually installation went off with out a hitch. The job site was neat and orderly. Definitely a 5 star experience

  Going through roof quotes and verifying companies was stressful until I came across Interstate Roofing. With the amazing communication from Nicole in the office explaining every issue and the impeccable work done by Sergio and his team i was highly impressed. They really don't make employees like this anymore and it felt like the good ole days with customer service being a top priority. Already plan on them coming back next year for gutters!
