  Called Tom Leach's because I have a leak in the roof. They came over, found the cause, quoted me several hundred dollars to fix it. Never heard from them again. No response to emails or phone calls after several weeks. Called a competitor, who came over within a day, fixed the leak for free. I know I need a new roof. Guess who's going to get my business for that.

  Sorry you had a bad experience with our company. Your roof is actually three stories, which we didn't know at the time of booking the appointment. Our insurance doesn't let us work on roofs that tall. We did give you a referral to another company we thought could help.

  I made an appointment 2 months in advance telling the "Pros" at Tom Leach that I had a steep incline to my roof and I needed them to go and check out the roof for potential issues and when the guy got there he was rude and said he wouldn't go on my roof but would give me and estimate for work? What??? How are you going to give me an estimate about my roof from the ground? Lol! I made an appointment for work ON MY ROOF! not to "look" at my roof do nothing then leave. F- GO TO ANOTHER ROOFER!

  When Dave made this appointment we were 2 weeks out. That was on 16 Aug. He had requested an estimate for 20 Sept which we did.The notes for the estimate were for a moss treatment and potential repairs. Per Dave it is a fairly new roof. The roof was completely visible from the ground and is why the estimator did not need to go on the roof. We typically do not go on roofs to do a moss treatment quotes as moss is pretty easy to see. We do not show up to do work on roofs. We always provide written estimates first. So the initial site visit is to get a look at things and then provide an estimate which was declined.

  I can’t imagine myself and the one other poor rating are unique. I imagine others just don’t bother to review. They literally answered then Hung up more than 10 times before actually speaking.

  I'm sorry you had a bad experience trying to get ahold of us, that is absolutely not the norm and not how we do business. We keep a record of who calls us and I couldn't find your name anywhere, are you sure it was us you were calling? We definitely don't answer the phone and then hang up before speaking. We were having some phone troubles a few weeks ago, our provider was down for a few hours, perhaps you were caught in that? We also block calls from marketing/spam callers, but you wouldn't have been put on that list by accident. If you called us trying to get a quote for roofing work then I apologize.

  Worst customer service of any local company I've dealt with in the last 10 years. Don't follow through on calling back or sending emails. Not great at answering the phone (answered 2 of 8 calls during business hours over the course of three weeks). You get a business card from one of their estimators, and it has the same generic office phone number and a generic email address. After five total weeks of trying to work with them, we finally get a bid. We ask one question, and despite being respectful and trying to be patient after not receiving multiple emails that they were supposed to send, the estimator backed out on the job. Had to have an ounce of trust with a company that operates like this. Proceed at your own risk. Would like to have all that wasted time back, but I guess it's best that we learned in advance that they are incompatible of even basic communication and ended up hiring them. So bad.

  I'm very sorry to hear about the issues you had. Communication is normally one of our strong points so I'm not sure what happened. If you look at our other reviews you will see that we normally stay in good communication and we're prompt with our bids/estimates and with answering any questions. I would like to point out that we never did any actual work with you. So your review may be fair in regards to our failure to communicate effectively with you but it doesn't represent our work. Again, not sure where we dropped the ball on communicating with you but if you ever want to give us another chance then give us a call or send us an e-mail and I'm sure you'll have a better experience.

  Do not use their services, stay away from this business. Unprofessional, trying to raise the price after agreed quote, delayed work for months, starting to work before my approval. Too many details to post here.

  Sorry to hear about the bad experience you had with us. I'm not sure what happened on your quote, we don't raise prices and our quote is our quote. Sometimes we will give different quotes for different scopes of work, but still the quote is what it is. We don't change it. If you ever need help with a roofing project I hope you'd give us another chance.

  The crew was outstanding, they kept ongoing cleanup and did not waste time. The job was complete in 2 1/2 days as promised! 30 years ago this same company put the original roof on and we would recommend Tom Leach Roofing to all.

  Very good communication and patience with a rescheduling I needed. Workers were prompt, tidy. I have already shared a card with a general contractor I have used when he asked if I would recommend to his clients.

  From the time I requested an estimate, I received excellent communication and advice from the Project Manager. He gave me a great price and went above and beyond for me. The talented men laying the roofing materials were friendly and worked very, very hard in hot conditions. Always on time (or early) and kept everything neat and clean. The end result was extremely good and I am confident it will last a long time. I would not hesitate to call them again for additional projects if needed.

  We had a great experience with Tom Leach Roofing when they replaced the complex roof on our century house. Their professional, hard-working team of roofers came on time every day and worked equally well alone and as a team, depending on the momentary requirements. Juan is an excellent team lead, and Jose, Hector, Porfirio, and Pedro all performed their tasks safely and with confidence. The materials and the installation are top-notch. After a hard day’s work, the crew always had the enthusiasm and energy to clean up and leave the work site perfectly free of debris and nails. Our roof has become something for neighborhood walkers to admire when looking above the garden. It is a beautiful job.
