  The worst and zero accountability. DO NOT HIRE. We called this company for an emergency roof leak, hoping for professional help. Instead, we got ripped off and left with the exact same leak—plus a fresh headache. They sent two people to the job, but one was an apprentice who literally stood around and barely did a thing the entire time. Yet, on the invoice, they had the nerve to charge us the full premium rate for two experienced workers. The "expert" sent out couldn’t even find the actual source of the leak, but instead of admitting it, he just acted like he knew what he was doing. He slapped plastic asphalt over a random area he blindly assumed was the problem. Fast forward one week later: it rained, and the roof leaked in the exact same spot. We had to call a reputable roofing company to come fix their mess. The new crew immediately located the real source of the leak, telling us it was extremely noticeable and significant, and that they couldn't fathom how anyone could have possibly missed it. When I called back to address this disaster, the response was infuriating. They hid behind a "no guarantee" policy and actually had the audacity to tell me to "let them know how it goes." When I called back the next day to speak with a supervisor, he promised he would return my call—and of course, completely ghosted me. Completely unprofessional, incompetent, and dishonest. Save your money and look anywhere else.

  This company seems reputable, but beware. I paid a deposit for a contract, and after six months, I still haven't heard anything. I've sent emails and made calls, but it all goes unanswered. Finally, I sent a formal notice, and they still haven't responded. In my humble opinion, it's best not to do business with Toitures LV and its owner, Laurent Vergniole. I would have given one star for posting this, but I'm giving zero stars!

  We hired this company to install heating wires in our gutters to prevent icicles from forming. The result: it simply doesn't work, as the photos below demonstrate. Despite paying over $3,000, the situation is worse than before. When I requested a correction or, at the very least, a partial refund, the company categorically refused to cooperate. The sales manager, Pascalin, claims the problem stems from our gutters. However, during the needs assessment visit conducted last fall, they never mentioned that our gutters would render the installation ineffective or compromise the results. If that had been the case, we obviously wouldn't have proceeded. We trusted their expertise, and in the end, we feel cheated: they take the payment and then absolve themselves of responsibility when the work doesn't deliver the expected results. At this point, given the complete lack of a proposed solution, we have no choice but to file a claim with small claims court. In short: avoid them. If you don't want to pay a lot for a useless result and then be told afterward that the problem is on your end, look elsewhere.

  They used a subcontractor, who did a good job otherwise. There were two separate, unrelated invoices (initial quote + work completed—the first time I've ever seen that). In total, it was over $8,000 for cleaning a slate cornice, some caulking, and replacing a few damaged pieces. They revised and reduced the amount to $7,400 after I complained. The billing seems completely random. I do not recommend them.

  ***Oct.01, 2025 My Customer Review update Today I want to explain why this company is an irresponsible one. When the company first sent someone to assess the roof of my house, he recommended two types of materials and said he would provide quotes for both. Since I had already done some research online, I told him right away to only give me the quote for the better material, because I would only choose that one. The reason is that where I live, the winters are very windy, and the better material has stronger wind resistance. Later, I indeed received the quote for the better material. However, during construction, without notifying me, they used the cheaper material instead. This is not only extremely irresponsible toward the customer but also constitutes fraudulent behavior. ***Sep.28, 2025 Today I will clarify only one part of my response to this company, so as not to let their statements mislead anyone: When their staff called me to choose a color, the very first thing I asked was whether the color I liked was available. It was only after he told me it was available that I chose my preferred color. To avoid any mistakes, I even wrote a note specifically indicating the material and color I wanted. However, when they later discovered that the material I had selected did not come in the color I had chosen, they did not inform me. In this industry, if it were a professional company, it would first ensure the customer receives the material they selected, and then discuss with the customer about any necessary changes to the color. Instead, they unilaterally substituted a cheaper material without notifying me. This is precisely why I stated in my customer review that they are unprofessional. To make this clearer, let me give a simple example: Imagine we go to a car dealership and order a top-configuration car, paying a deposit. The dealership also lets us choose the color. In the end, the dealership delivers only a basic-configuration car, then tells us that because th

Zhang, You mentioned having received a “threatening letter.” We must clarify that this is not the case: it was a legal letter delivered by a bailiff, due to the false information and defamatory statements published in your review. Regarding the roofing project, we need to set the record straight: You personally selected the color through the website. The color you chose corresponded to the Cambridge line, not the IKO line as you claim. No substitution of materials “without your knowledge” was ever made. It is precisely to correct these inaccuracies and protect the reputation of our company that we have decided to initiate legal action.   We had a really great experience with Toitures LV. Chris was very approachable, helpful, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. The team arrived at 7:00 a.m. and had the entire job completed by around 1:30 p.m., which was impressive. The price was very reasonable, the work was professional, and everything went smoothly. Our roof looks amazing, and we’re very happy with the result. We would definitely recommend Toitures LV!
