  We had our roof redone by this company in 2016. A few months ago, we noticed a water leak and contacted the company about it. Mr. Yvan Fettu, the company owner, came a few weeks after my call, saying he was very busy. He came to check the problem and determined it wasn't due to the roof. He was very defensive and didn't want to hear anything about it. I told him I was going to bring in an inspector to be sure where the leak was coming from, and he said I would be paying for nothing. We decided to have a building inspector come, and it turned out the source wasn't the roof, but he still noted that our roof had many defects. On Thursday, August 4, 2022, I contacted Mr. Yvan Fettu again and apologized for thinking it was their fault, and he accepted my apology. Afterwards, I told him about the defects and he asked me to send him the inspection report, promising to call me back later that day, which he didn't do. The next day, Friday, August 5, 2022, I tried to contact him again, but there was no answer; my calls went straight to his voicemail. Today, Tuesday, August 9, 2022, I called him, and miraculously, he answered. He told me he had read the report and that everything had been done correctly, "by the book," and that what the inspector had said was false, then he hung up on me. I left him a voicemail because he refused to answer me and gave him a chance to resolve the situation promptly, but still nothing. He is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional; I definitely do not recommend him.

  He installed a faulty roof, and after a class action lawsuit, unfortunately, despite repeated calls, he still hasn't replaced the defective shingles that come off very easily.

  Hello Madam, we understand your frustration, you expressed it to us at every visit ;(, but we never installed the "Rempart" shingle after the class action lawsuit was filed, as you say.... ALL the companies were installing this product at the time, which was discontinued and replaced by Dakota. Your problem didn't stem from the installation at all, but from the shingle itself. Despite this fact, I continued to serve you for over 10 years (beyond the warranty period), without ever even a thank you... We understand your frustration, as do many customers from that time. We too were burned by this class action lawsuit. The solution was a class action against BP, but we never abandoned you, not even without an appeal. By the way, if I saw that a shingle was missing, I would go and install it, often the same day. But now your roof will probably need to be completely replaced because the shingles are curling...

  Terrible service! They refused to provide the urgent estimate we needed for the purchase of our house. No help or solution was offered.

We are busy serving clients with urgent needs and are also rushing to serve those who currently have a contract with us to have their roofs done before winter, which seems to be arriving earlier than expected. We apologize, Mr. Tetreault, but at this time of year we are no longer providing estimates. We are overwhelmed. This certainly does not warrant a one-star rating. Our priority is to honor our commitments to our clients, and we cannot, at this time of year, accept any other emergencies besides theirs. The season is drawing to a close, and each of our clients must be served.
