  This review was copied and pasted from a house we roofed over 10 years ago. The homeowner continues to repost it under different names. We have never responded to reviews in the past, but if the homeowner is going to continue to repost a complaint that was not our fault we are forced to respond. We install ridge vent in the areas where the plywood is cut otherwise it serves no purpose. Rooms that have insulation on the underside of the plywood cannot have ridge vent because the goal is to condition that room. From our perspective, it is easy. If the plywood is cut, install ridge vent, if not then we don't. The insulation happens after we are finished with the project. 7 YEARS after we completed the roof, we got a call about condensation from the inside. NOT A ROOF PROBLEM. We gave a proposal to cut in and add ridge vent to help remedy the problem. We were very backed up and didn't get to house as fast as the homeowner would like. We were told the homeowner was going to get someone else to do it. Since they are still posting negative reviews 2 1/2 years later, we can only assume they did not find anyone. We have done nothing wrong other than responding slowly to fix someone else's mistake. The problem is a venting issue. We are the roofing contractor. We install the vents that the architect specifies and the GC cuts for us. To solve this problem talk to the GC and architect. Please remove us from any further correspondence.

  Saw a truck from this company on I55 today getting off at 126 in Plainfield. The driver was on his phone texting and swerving all over and causing dangerous driving situations for others then cut off two lanes of traffic to get over. Horrible

  stay away, bad service, Keith the owner is very unprofessional, installed our roof and when we had a leak soon after, he did not respond, I had to use another company to fix his sloppy work, arrogant... RUN away

  Had Keith come out over 2 years ago for a roof repair. After I received the proposal I gave the go ahead to fix it. I tried calling for 6 months but never received a call back. Fast forward 2 years and they show up to fix my roof without a call. These guys are a joke.

  Tilden did not deliver as specified in our contract. Found out a year later when repairs needed to be made to their botched job that the shingle color we specified was not the one installed. Further, the ridge line work was bad and leaked.

  We used Tilden to put a roof on our new home. They were responsive, professional and super patient! I had a hard time committing to the shingle color- they provided addresses of past jobs and helped me finalize my decision. They put the roof on as indicated on the plans and did an excellent job- but the framers missed a step on the plans so we were planning to Have Tilden come back out and trim the shingles. They gave us a reasonable price for this added work. They gave us a referral for soffits and fascia work - and that company was equally great to work with. Tilden came by after the soffits and fascia were on and told us they didn’t think the shingles needed any additional trimming after all but if we wanted them to they would. I would absolutely use Tilden again

  We needed a new roof this summer. Tilden Roofing was able to not only do it timely, but also Brian was super helpful with color and material choices and the crews did a great job keeping the job site clean. I won’t need a new roof again for over 20 years but I would highly suggest them if you are in need.

  We had our roof repaired by Tilden Roofing and had a great experience. The prices were responsible, the completion time was quick and the customer service was great. Whenever I called, they always answered or called me back promptly. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend!
