  driver almost killed me turning onto dunham in the middle of the suburbs of downers grove. had to swerve into the bike lanes because he turned with such conviction. mind you its 8:30 AM and this is where the high school cross country kids run every morning during the summer. thankfully the kids went back to school.

  Had an inspection done by Demario and filed a claim. I spoke with him after making the appointment, which was 2 weeks away. The day before the appointment he called me to ask what time the appointment was again and I told him. He asked me for the inspector’s information, to reschedule a different time. As he couldn’t get in touch with the inspector, he did speak to him when he arrived to my house. The inspector said he never called. Demario arrived an hour late and spoke with the inspector. After the inspector left, Demario asked me out to breakfast. I told him no and he left my house. The lateness and trying to take me out to breakfast afterwards was the most unprofessional behavior I’ve ever seen in my life. Long story short, I later decided not to do business with this company and went with another one instead.

  Last fall Culture replaced our roof, siding and gutters. We were satisfied with the work, however, our only complaint at the time was lack of communication as to when workers would arrive. During roof repair the crew broke our Sunsetter awning and since it was late fall we agreed to wait till spring for a replacement. We were told to hold X dollars till the awning was replaced. Culture called in late March re who to call for a quote. The quote was made and submitted 1st week of April. End of April having heard nothing I called Sunsetter, the awning was never ordered. Calling Culture was told quote was 2x what we held back. It took 2 more month of them jerking us around to finally place the order. I truly believe they were hoping we would get fed up and just keep the hold back money and end the issue. Needless, we did not. The awning was finally replaced on 7/24/25, “only” 4 months of hassle. They then wanted the hold back money immediately! I told their rep. the money was in a money market and I would have it in ~ a week. To which they agreed. Over the next 4 business days I received 3 texts requesting payment! “GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE, RIGHT!” If you go with Culture and any damage is done during construction make sure final payment is not paid till all repairs are completed to your satisfaction!!!!!!

  As the next door neighbor of a person who used this contractor, I really don't appreciate their job site hygiene and overall behavior. Two weeks ago they finished their job and I'm still picking up scraps and shards of house wrap embedded …

  Many better companies to consider , Price changes last minute , bait and switch. Soliciting . Won’t explain work they are doing. Haven’t been around long not sure they communicate well . Supplier backed out on them . Horrible organization !!!

  They did a great job on the roof replacements . They did all the communication with the insurance company for me, and even after draining the air conditioner, they sent out a company to fill it back up.

  We had a positive experience with Culture and the team that worked on our project. Based on our experience, I would recommend them. We especially appreciated working with our design consultant/project manager, Urszula. She encouraged us to explore the range of design options and materials until we found the right fit. Her renderings also helped us visualize how our selections would translate into the finished design. We found the crews to be friendly, polite, and easy to work with. We especially appreciated Culture's willingness to listen to our concerns and follow through until they were addressed.

  At first I was very skeptical of the whole entire process but Matt was very charismatic and sweet and I trusted him with the claim. Long story short, I’m so glad that I did my home now looks better than it did before the storm! If you see this card on your door, I’d definitely give him a call!
