  Thank you for sharing your concerns. I want to apologize, as there appears to have been some miscommunication during the inspection and estimating process. Regarding the inspection fee, it appears the amount originally entered may have been an honest mistake. Kenny has been with us for years and has had nothing but great things said about him, so I can assure you he had no intention of making this process frustrating. I really believe there was just a misunderstanding we should have addressed much earlier. The replacement estimate was based on the measured roof area, which won't be the same as the size of the home, and the work required for the home’s existing plank decking, including a full deck-over. These factors can significantly affect the total cost and may help explain why the estimate was higher than expected when compared only with the home’s interior square footage. We would also like to clarify that determining the exact age of shingles through a visual inspection is very difficult. Without original packaging, installation records, or similar documentation, an inspector can generally only estimate age based on visible conditions such as granule loss, wear, deterioration, and other signs of aging. The inspection also considered the overall condition of the roofing system and other observed concerns, including flashing, possible leaking, and attic wood conditions. We are disappointed that the communication broke down, as we believe many of these concerns could be clarified through a direct conversation and a review of the inspection report and estimate. We would love the opportunity to speak with you, explain the findings and proposed scope of work, and address any remaining questions.

  My Family and I are very proud we chose the Roof Mentors to replace our roof. From the Beginning to end nothing but greatness and joy. They were professional in all aspects. from accessing the damage and going over every option in full detail. All our questions were answered, our roof is done and my family and I are super excited.
