  The Roof Doctors replaced my roof in 2019. This winter I have been having significant leaks in areas that were supposed to have ice and water shield installed. I have attempted to get in contact with Danny or anyone from the company multiple times through multiple different channels (phone, test, email, inquiry form on their website) to avail. At this point I am assuming they are no longer interested in honoring the warranty.

  I'm sorry you're having ice dam issues. You have to maintain the roof in the winter months to prevent huge ice dams or they will back up under the eaves. We certainly use ice and water shield or you would've had leaked several years ago even in 2018 when we actually replaced your roof.

  Very unhappy. Crew didn’t remove old layer of shingles on porch roof. Also, discoloration appeared in two areas.

  When you brought the porch issue to my attention, we came out and replaced that roof for you removing the old shingles. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. The discoloration would have to be taken up with the shingle manufacturer at CertainTeed. I did try to steer you towards the IKO brand. Thank you for your review.

  We did the roof relacement in 2023 and had an understanding with previous owner we contracted with only having a one year warrantee. Changing the roof from metal to shingle and using the same skylights may be a problem. All we could do is caulk around them without using any new flashing. Shoveling the roof after a large snowstorm will prevent huge ice dams from forming in the winter. Thanks for you review

  I was very pleased with my roof replacement in May 2016. I have had a major leak since January 2024. I have called, sent texts, emailed and even spoke to a family member in person, and they will not respond to me. They do not stand behind their workmanship or products as stated in their contract. I am very disappointed.

  Had a roof replaced by roof doctor, does not warranty his work, I got issues within a year, called them and he called back said we'll come back to fix it in the spring, didn't respond, he come back, paid over over 25k, and I would not recommend them

  Well to be fair the roof didn't leak. After we removed what turned out to be three layers of roofing I did give you the opportunity to replace the roof decking because it was in such bad shape. Instead you opted to just install a few sheets of plywood over the worst part of that rear side. It held up for a few years before a couple sheets buckled causing a few bumps in the roof.

  Hello Lee, I’m sorry we couldn’t meet your timeline. As I told you on the phone, We only do roof replacements during the week and I would pass your info along to my guys. I give them the small weekend jobs as a bonus.We are trying to get away from repair work because we were apparently the only people doing it in the whole area and we were just becoming overwhelmed. We are a small family business and we have obligations to do whole roof replacements for several weeks in advance. We just don’t have the time to do all of the repairs in southern Maine anymore.   I had a tree fall on garage that is separate from my house.Danny came by and gave me a quote. The installers who did the work were very detailed oriented and did an excellent job and I might add reasonable. I highly recommend them and would use them again if the need arises.

  The Roof Doctors did an amazing job on my VERY worn roofs. Even though they were both quite large they were stripped and completely finished in just two days! Everything was cleaned up and the roof looks great! Would definitely recommend!

  We recently had our roof re-shingled, using the Roof Doctors. It's a big project and can be intimidating with so many roofers, but I would highly recommend Dan (owner). We actually had a small issue after the project was complete, where there was some extra sealing required around the chimney. Many contractors will be extra difficult to work with after a project is complete. Not Dan. He was super responsive, came right out, and fixed the issue. This is rare to find out there and why I will always recommend Roof Doctors.

  Had a great experience with Earnest (I think goes by Bill). Professional, quick, uncomplicated, and unbeatable in value. I sent him a video and picture of our roof repair needs, he gave me a quote, and squeezed us in the same day because he had a cancellation. Other contractors tried to upsell me or quoted a pretty steep price for a relatively quick repair. Have already recommended The Roof Doctors to our neighbors and will return when we need our roof replaced. Highly recommend!
