Durable Slate employees, Alex and Edwin, did a great job of inspecting my roof and creating the remediation plan. I signed the contract and made a deposit of $1,833.

Our inspector, Edwin was honest and quite knowledgeable. He said our slate was Buckingham slate, about the best quality slate you can get. In contrast to another company, which told us there was hail damage and we could get a whole new roof …

I enjoyed working with Justin at Durable Slate. On time, gave great information, offered a fair price. Work was done on time, and as promised. I've been a customer for many years, and plan to stay with Justin and this company.

The slate roof of our historic 1925 home in Cumberland, MD was in need of some TLC, due to deferred maintenance by the former owner and shoddy repairs over the years. Durable Slate was amazing, from start to finish! On contact, they promptly sent out an Estimator, who assessed the issues and provided a reasonable quote for repairs, inc. slate tiles and copper flashing. Work was performed by Master Craftsmen, with care and precision. A final Quality Inspection occurred to ensure all work was to high standards. These guys are the real deal; couldn’t be happier with the work, service and cost!

The internet needs more beautiful slate roofs :)

I am very pleased with my slate roof repairs. My slate roof is the original roof and is over one hundred years old. We had to postpone repairs due to weather problems but Mike Latorre kept me informed and was sorry for the delay. The repair crew arrived when scheduled and went to work. Repairs were completed in less than four hours which included the clean up. The roof looks great. I can't tell the new slates from the old. The work was perfect. I hardily recommend The Durable Slate Company for any and all slate repairs or new installations.
