Update. So, the roof has continued to leak. We're replacing the drywall and guess what we found - a giant hole. I specifically asked for your company to check this area for a hole since this is where the leak was. You said there was nothing …

For clarity, you did not purchase a roof from this Maryland location. The project you reference was performed by Rooftop Designs Tri-State in New Jersey, a separate company with separate management, employees, sales representatives, and installers. It also appears similar complaints were previously posted against our Illinois location, which likewise had no involvement in your project. Your concerns were addressed years ago, and an independent third-party inspection was performed at that time. The findings concluded that the reported water intrusion was related to the siding/exterior wall area and not a defect in the roofing system. Several years have passed since the original installation, and many of the individuals involved are no longer affiliated with that company. To the extent communications were directed to former managers or employees, that may explain why responses were not received. While we understand your frustration, this review concerns a project performed by a different company and does not reflect any experience with the Maryland location where it has been posted.

WARNING – DO NOT TRUST ROOFTOP DESIGN ⚠️ This is one of the most unprofessional and misleading companies I have ever dealt with. They will say whatever you want to hear just to get your business, then completely fail to deliver. They will ask you to sign and promise that the contract will be sent to your email, but you are not given the opportunity to review the contract before signing. This tactic leaves you committed without knowing what you are actually agreeing to. They verbally promised to replace my windows before Thanksgiving, but instead went silent and only contacted me two days before Christmas. I called repeatedly with no response, no updates, and no accountability. This is unacceptable. The delay caused serious inconvenience. I needed the windows installed for the cold season and had already made plans to host extended family based on the timeline they guaranteed. Because of their broken promises, my plans were disrupted and I was left stressed and frustrated. Their verbal promises mean nothing. This company shows a complete lack of integrity, transparency, and professionalism. I strongly warn others to e careful doing business with them.

Linda, This review leaves out important facts. You signed both a handwritten and electronic contract that outlined a 4–8 week installation timeframe and clearly stated that verbal promises are not binding. There was no guaranteed Thanksgiving installation date. We contacted you within the contract window, including before Christmas, and were ready to proceed. The project did not move forward because you chose not to proceed unless additional pricing concessions were made. Statements made publicly that contradict the written record do not change the facts. Because this matter is now in formal dispute, we won’t address further details here

Would not recommend - guy tried to quote me a 10,322 roof replacement for a town home when he didn’t even go up on the roof to inspect it or measure it. He said if I scheduled in the next two weeks he would apply a $2,364 discount making …

Clay, We appreciate you sharing your experience and want to clarify a few points. Physically accessing the roof is not always required to generate an accurate estimate. Industry-standard measurement technology, such as EagleView and Roofr, is widely used across the roofing industry to capture precise dimensions, pitch, and layout. We operate in nine states and use this technology daily to accurately scope and sell roof replacements without the need to climb the roof during an initial visit. In many cases, climbing a roof beforehand introduces unnecessary risk when modern tools allow accurate measurements to be obtained safely. Pricing is based on scope, materials, warranties, and long-term performance. National cost-vs-value data — which is compiled using building permit data and completed projects — typically reflects pricing well above our own for comparable roof replacements. If you received quotes significantly lower than ours, we encourage homeowners to closely review differences in materials, scope, and warranty coverage when comparing proposals. If our approach or pricing was not the right fit for you, we respect that and appreciate the opportunity to have met with you. We wish you the best with your project

We purchased two doors from Rooftop Design, and sadly, the entire experience has been quite disappointing. Their customer service is severely lacking—we had to call multiple times, but we never received any follow-up. The sales representative measured our doors and gave us a quote, which we initially declined because it was higher than other companies. Eventually, their back office contacted us with a discount. However, when the measurement technician arrived, he informed us that we’d been quoted for a standard sliding door, even though we needed a custom size. He insisted we settle for the standard door, claiming it was only an inch narrower. We sought clarification from the office, but no one ever got back to us. Then, on installation day, we were extremely disappointed to discover that the sliding door was actually 4 inches narrower and 4 inches shorter than expected, completely ruining the beautiful view we once had. To make matters worse, while the install team did an okay job overall, the trim they installed around the door wasn’t even painted. It looks horrible in our newly renovated house, and honestly, it’s been the final straw in a very frustrating process. We tried calling again, and while someone took note of our issue, no one ever called us back. Overall, the lack of communication, poor attention to detail, and unsatisfactory workmanship have left us deeply disappointed.

Rooftop Design replaced our roof and a window for us. The quality of the roof and window is great; however, the communication after the contract signing was poor. The team did not communicate well with us before, during, or after the installation. And I have a lingering follow-up request that's been awaiting action and response for months. Worth 2.5 stars

Customer service after the work is done is horrible not to mention that I have a problem with my new roof. Since Aug 1, it took 3 phone calls, 3 emails, and a text to our original salesperson to get a phone call back (Aug 20). Finally, service is scheduled to come out today (Aug 26) from 8-10am and they reach out 10:15 (likely prompted by a new round of phone call, email, and text I sent) to say they are running late and show up when I'm trying to get out the door for work (which I had taken some time away from to be available for the visit). Unable to schedule another time with me, now I wait for another call back.

They replaced a failing clawfoot tub with a tub/shower and replaced a pedestal sink with a proper vanity and sink. The work was done custom to fit our space. It came out beautifully and everything is fully functional. Everything was completed in a single day.

First, they were on time. Introduced hisself, told how long it was going to take. Secondly, he showed me what he was going to do and replace. Lastly, he finished within the timeframe, cleaned up his mess and was out of here. Alex Betedere and his team did an outstanding job and take pride in their work. Respectfully, Sharon Robinson

Roof installation, very successful, crew arrived early on a cloudy day and worked diligently to get the job done. Thorough in disposal of all old shingles and trash and cleaning up our yard and surrounding areas. Even cooperative with delivery trucks that came while work was in progress. Presentation to set up the order was clear and comprehensive. Company accommodated our time window for scheduling the work.

Looking forward to my new Provia window installation. It was an absolute pleasure working with Greg Wicklein the Project Specialist. He was very knowledgeable of the product and answered everything I asked.

My wife called and made an appointment with the sales specialist Greg Wicklien. He came out and we were interested in windows for the whole house. He went through everything thoroughly with the windows they had to offer and we chose a package that we would like to have and the financing company we were already familiar with. He preceded to order the windows we give him a period in which we could have them put in and they scheduled it. All windows were done in about 4hrs and looked amazing. We were very pleased with how it turned out. Thank you Rooftop Designs for all your service and for a salesperson like Greg who was not pushy to sell but very helpful to work with. Sherman &Teresa
