  Is your roof a status symbol? Are you looking to be dazzled by an iPad slide show? Can’t wait to be subjected to two hours of aggressive sales tactics and pressured to sign on the spot? Want to be misled about what a roof installation actually costs? Then boy does Erie have exactly what you need! Their salesman was very charming until it was time to talk numbers. It was the first quote I entertained, and my jaw hit the floor when he quoted $35k for a 5/12 1800 sq ft installation. And after endlessly pressuring me while I stood firm that I wouldn’t sign any contract on the same day, I had to insist that he leave my house so I could put my kids to bed. His price dropped 20% before he was out the door. Then 24 hrs later, the infamous call from the “supervisor” who had the flexibility to cut me a deal. He wanted me to know it was the end of the month and they had a quota to reach. I guess I must have sucker tattooed on my forehead. Needless to say, after I talked to three other companies, the actual contract I signed with another company was a third of what Erie quoted. It wasn’t even the lowest price, but the salesman was helpful, kind, and as far as I can tell, as honest as they come. Steer clear of Erie. They may have a good product, but hard to get past their sleazy business practices.

  Was very disappointed. Took off work to meet them at my house for a 3pm appointment for an estimate on my roof. No show or call so I called them at 3:20. Immediate call back saying they were held up and would not make it. The attitude was that they really didn’t care that I missed hours of work to meet them and I should just reschedule. No thanks. I would rather deal with a company that will honor appointments or let someone know before they take time from work and lose money.

  I scheduled an appointment for a property I have that’s over 30 minutes away from where I live. 10 minutes before the first appointment they called and canceled. I was already at the property…. I reschedule a week later and they never showed up so I called and after I called they said they had to cancel. If they can’t keep an appointment I can only assume that their whole process is similar as sales people tend to be the best communicators. Don’t let companies waste your time like this one.

  I had to block their number, they kept calling me multiple times per day after I explicitly told them to leave me alone. I even explained to them that my current life circumstances did not allow for their services, and they still persisted, calling me each time with a different person. They attempt to pry into your business if you say no. They do not go away. Completely unprofessional, I wish I had never reached out to "Erie Metal Roof". I fell for their fake online add and when I explained to them, after them telling me about the services, that I believe their add was misleading they argued with me. I initially had set an appointment with them to come out then canceled it (in a timely manner I might add as to not waist their time). The sales guy must make a commission because they don't respect you saying no.

  Had a guy over out of curiosity (saw the free roof IG promo), Annapolis MD area. First off the time they set up was 7:30 PM which is dark in September, which I thought was strange. Regardless he took his satellite pictures, came in and gave me a big pitch complete with roof samples and financing calculators. Ultimately, for my 432 square foot house the price of a metal roof was $37,000. Mind you I installed 1/3 of it myself for just about $600 using basic materials. Sure sure its only rated for 12 years instead of 100. When I said no to both that deal and his personal deal of $34,000, he brought out the big guns and called his supervisor at around 9 PM, some bro named Trevor, to ask for permission to activate the showcase deal because I may be a consideration (at this point the script was becoming obvious). To my surprise Trevor answered on the second ring and after a few minor details agreed to the showcase detail. Ultimately the showcase deal reduced my price to $20,000, which naturally I denied as well. I don’t like writing reviews that could impact people’s livelihoods…I try to subscribe to wanting the best for everyone…but sitting here I can’t help but think about the people who may not be comfortable saying no to pushy salesmen and as a result placed in financial hardship. Once upon a time I used to think sales strategies were comical, but now as a money pit owner getting by day to day I no longer have tolerance for companies who’s paradigm revolves around sales, numbers, and not taking no for an answer, regardless of what kind of pressure you might be putting someone under. These kind of schemes need to be replaced by efforts that respect customers and genuinely put them first on a timeline that makes sense for them…or not at all if it doesn’t. There’s too much focus on constant corporate “expansion” and not enough on affirming solid ethics and core values. So no, unfortunately I can’t say my experience with Erie was fortuitous and certainly don’t recommen

  Erie construction replaced my roof back in the summer. The salesman lied about the warranty and then the contractors damaged my driveway. The warranty was made right but after being told they would pay me for the damage to my driveway they jerked me around for months never paying. Save your money and don't use them

  Erie Home did a good job replacing my roof. They were on time and ready to work. Workers were conscious of homeowners being home in early a.m. hours. great job cleaning up and tidy up end of each day . staff and workers were cordial and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

  Great investment in my home and in Erie home, found high quality products installed by highly reputable company, with no worries of the companies' credibility. Additionally had them back out after a slight redesign on portion of the house, and their professionalism and workmanship exceeded my expectations again. The roof looks amazing and even the project manager and salesman said "this looks like a completely different home now!" Overly happy with the company and the management team, kept in touch for progress, scheduling, completion and even two follow up calls (one a month later) confirming I was still happy with the end results and the whole process from start to finish. I highly recommend Erie home !

  They did an excellent job, but I wish gutters were added in the price. My cousin got gutters added in and I paid $6000.00 dollars more than he did. And his roof was higher and bigger.
