  We just built a brand new house. The builder used SWF Roofing. We hired a home inspector before closing. He listed missing tiles, broken tiles, vents not painted, the way they installed the drip line. I was worried that the work was sloppy. Sure enough, one week after we moved in , the roof over the lanai leaked because they left a big open gap where the rooflines meet. No stucco, nothing. Just a triangular gaping hole was tiled over. Too bad I can’t post that picture. So now we are dealing with water damage for a brand new house. One star should be no stars.

  Hello Cindi. My name is Frank Freeman owner of SWF Roofing. I do apologize for the broken tile and vents not being painted at the time you took possession of your new home. We were not able to complete a final inspection of your roof by then, this final inspection is when the installers are completely done and we change out any broken tile at that point and paint the vents. We leave the painting for last so we know the roof has been inspected. As far as the hole in the stucco we do not do stucco work and my employee never should of pointed that area out to you thinking it was the leak. There was a leak in the valley below and no, there should be no leaks in a new roof but a lot of things can happen to a roof once we are done with the dry in. We did take care of these issues in a timely manner to the best of our abilities at that time. All reviews make us a better company and I thank you for your time.

  I waiting a long time to write this review because Frank the owner told us our roof would look better over time it was a brown tile and is totally streaked with white and is the worst looking roof in Longshore Lakes he promised us it would look better but it does not and I don’t believe it ever will I’m sorry we ever paid them I am so disappointed in how our home looks I am now looking for a company that I can trust to fix this mess I gave one star only because I couldn’t post anything without a star

  Hi Judy, I am sorry the efflerescence has not washed off of your tile yet. It can take over a year or so to do so. It is just a natural occurance in the wet mortar and is unavoidable especialy with your dark color of tile. I have sent a couple of emails with photos to you with no response from you showing how great the roof looks now. I also included the letter from the National Tile Manufacturers explaining what efflerescence is. You are certainly welcome to call me with your concerns. Frank, 239-298-2709.

  I'm putting an outdoor kitchen in and my company used SWF to run the exhaust. The crew was great, they identified a few key things on my roof that needed to be repaired. Their pricing was fair, and the owner Frank was great to work with. FL roofs need regular attention, and I will use these guys going forward.

  SWF Roofing Co. I would definitely recommend this company for the workmanship. They were very professional and worked very neatly. Much to our surprise there was no mess or anything left behind.
