My experience with Epic Roofing and Exteriors was extremely frustrating, and I cannot recommend them without serious reservations. While the final metal roof looks good and has had no installation issues so far (time will tell), the process of getting there was plagued with problems that overshadowed the end result. Communication was severely lacking. I was rarely notified when workers would arrive, which repeatedly caused issues with gate access. A simple courtesy call or text is the bare minimum expectation for any professional service, yet it almost never happened. Property care was unacceptable. Workers burned my grass by leaving metal materials sitting on it (despite assurances this wouldn't happen if moved "soon") and left screws scattered throughout the yard. This isn't just sloppy—it's dangerous for pets, children, and vehicle tires. Thorough cleanup should be standard, not optional. Commitments were not honored. What was originally promised changed midstream, creating a sense that goalposts were being moved. To Epic's credit, Andrew did eventually work to resolve a gutter issue after some back-and-forth, but I shouldn't have had to push for what was agreed upon. Financial transparency was non-existent. I was blindsided by thousands of dollars in unexpected charges related to "county inspection failures"—costs that should have been disclosed or forewarn about the possibilities upfront or at least explained before work proceeded. A surprise $5,000 bill is completely unacceptable from any reputable contractor. Bottom line: Epic Roofing needs a complete overhaul in communication, professionalism, and accountability. Until they start respecting clients, their properties, and their commitments, I would strongly caution others before hiring them.

We talked on 3 separate occasions about attaching the bathroom exhaust fan hoses to the new roof vents. The wrong type of vent was used. They told us to attach them ourselves with a zip tye!!!!! The drip edge they replaced was not deep …

Lisa, Epic is not a licensed HVAC company, we can not be installing and hooking up duct work in the attic. We are here to help , but if this duct work falls down, or emits gases we would be liable if we messed with it. The duct work all should be pinned to the sheating at the vent hole. A standard 4in gooseneck was installed for the bathroom on the roof so it can vent. Pertaining to the drip edge again this is standard Florida approved drip edge for 5v metal roofing. Your problem is the fascia wrap is not long enough to cover the fascia board. It is either smaller size or was retrofitted after the fact with old drip edge. It leaves a 3-4in gap of exposed fascia should only be about 1/2inch or flush. If we would have known we certainly would have had a customized drip edge made but still having the correct wrap on is ideal. This not something we did rather we reroofed the home and the fascia wrap was left on. Please give us a call if you would like to discuss, happy to hear you out and see how we can help have an amicable resolution to the situation. The metal roof looks great in the field photos taken, and we do appreciate your business. Roddie 239-214-3445

5 years after Epic did our roof water is currently pouring into the house. There was zero damage to the home during hurricane Ian (Rural estates). Shingles are all in tact and we didn't even lose a tree branch. I crawled up in attic and see that rain is coming through a section of plywood. Called Epic to come look at since they originally did roof. They told me their warranty is only good for 2 years and it will be $3500 to repair a small section of plywood. I would look elsewhere

Mr. Pristas, to clarify you had a two year labor warranty that was honored and expired in 2019. When we were out for the repair scope we quoted to replace a dead valley and then to eliminate two lead boots where you had solar sticking out of the boots. If you wanted to limit the scope we can certainly reduce the price if it’s just to stop the leak. The scope of work we provided is over a full days worth of work for our service team. The weather is extremely volatile in Southwest Florida and our reputation speaks for itself. We came out accessed it, and provided a quote. If you would like to discuss it further or look at alternative options please give us a call 239-214-3445.

** If you need a roof, you've been warned. ** Since Ian, Epic Roofing is the greatest disaster to hit Florida. Their crew is made of the cheapest labor American dollars can find, and boy, the quality really shows. It sounds like a train rolls through the house when a breeze passes by. The front of my house is embarrassing to my neighborhood. My gutters are definitely still full of rusty nails. They left trash and got paint on all the outdoor plants. Best of all, no one will respond to your texts or calls because they've been fired -- next month, a new salesman might hit you up. They also happen to make insurance an actual nightmare. Oh! I almost forgot. After you pay thousands of dollars in good faith, they'll try to put a lein on your property. Do you want me to keep going? Because my issues are!

I don't appreciate door to door solicitors. When I pulled the door hanger off my door and handed it back to the guy, he says "what, you don't want it?" to which I replied: "I'm good, thanks". When I went back out I realized that he left it there on the ground!

Mr. Gilchrist, one of our owners Marshall Adam’s reached out to you directly to discuss the matter . We do not condone that sort of behavior; and generally only hang flyers around current roof replacement installations as generally we get quite a few inquiries when we are working in the neighborhood. If you can contact us back at 239-214-3445. We would like to discuss the matter with you and have an independent meeting with our employee after we gather some information. This is not a proper representation of what our company stands for. Thank you, Epic Team

Had a salesman come to the house to give quote for roof replacement. I wanted to get a quote for shingles or metal. He never got on the roof to inspect, just was pushy to have insurance cover the cost for roof. Wanted me to sign papers before seeing any quotes. Made it clear that I was having couple roof contractors look at the roof and price out the replacement. He was more adamant about getting my insurance to cover it than actually getting me a quote. I asked him to email me a quote for both so we can compare pricing. Never got a quote seems they are more interested in high pressure sales to have insurance claim pay them to increase profits.

First off I like to say how Eddie, who over sees all jobs was great, prompt, professional and a great asset for your company BUT, the rep who was supposed to show for meeting decided my large roof in major need of replacement wasn't worth his time to show up to give me a quote. He asked Eddie to bring a contract for me to sign without quote nor going over job details in person. He didn't care that I used my only day off to meet with a so called professional business representative. Obviously not ! He wanted me as per phone call to him, not from him, (no notice he wasn't showing up to meeting) to sign and would give quote after deposit. Stupidly no clue of business nor does he represent your business professionally nor in good conduct to promote business growth. People, find a better company that acts professional and hires more qualified personnel.

Epic Roofing truly lives up to their name. The entire team was professional, efficient, and incredibly easy to work with. They showed up on time, communicated clearly throughout the project, and delivered top‑quality workmanship. My roof looks fantastic, and the attention to detail was obvious from start to finish. They kept the job site clean, respected my property, and made the whole process stress‑free. If you’re looking for a reliable roofing company that goes above and beyond (and trust me they do), Epic Roofing is the one to call.

We had an excellent experience with Epic Roofing & Exteriors from start to finish. Marshall Adams did a fantastic job coordinating the entire project and keeping us informed throughout the process. He was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and made everything run smoothly. Epic Roofing worked closely with Owens Corning and helped guide us through the material and warranty process, which gave us a lot of confidence in the quality of the installation. The crew was efficient, respectful of our property, and the cleanup afterward was outstanding. The finished roof looks great, and the overall workmanship exceeded our expectations. It’s refreshing to work with a company that truly values customer service and quality work. We would highly recommend Epic Roofing to anyone needing roofing services in Southwest Florida.

Very pleased with the whole process of reroofing from Epic. Our 25 year old original tile roof had reached its endpoint and we placed our choice with Epic due to reviews, recommendations, BBB status and detailed upfront attention to our needs. The crew that did the work were efficient and worked skillfully well together. And the managers were always available if needed. A great five-star experience!

Epic Roofing & Exteriors handled our full roof replacement professionally. Our primary contact Paul Ledea was responsive, knowledgeable, and capable of coordinating with the insurance company. The crew did solid work, met local codes, and stayed mostly on schedule. Keeping a sharper eye on weather forecasts could have helped avoid extra visits for minor follow-up items. We still strongly recommend Epic for your roof replacement needs in Fort Myers and the greater Southwest Florida area. Very satisfied with the final product!

A new roof is a big investment, but it doesn't have to stop you from moving forward. Epic Roofing & Exteriors offers flexible financing options through Service Finance, Ygrene, and Home Run Financing, so you can get your roof replaced or repaired now without waiting until you've saved the full amount out of pocket. With hurricane season already here, delaying a roof that's overdue for replacement isn't just costly … It's a risk. Financing makes it possible to act on your timeline, not your roof's.
