  SW Roofing had a contract to replace the shingles, siding and eves after the Aug 5, 2024 hail storm in Calgary. Everything was going great and the work was looking good. Then we had a leak by our skylight - OK the old shingles had been removed but the new shingles had not been installed. After the shingles were installed, we had 3 more leaks around the skylight from 3 following rain storms. Repairing the resulting issues from those leaks were quickly addressed except for the last leak. SW had been paid before the last leak and while they repaired the last skylight leaking issue, other leaking issues, ceiling stains and eves overflow have not been addressed. I guess that once they are paid, you won't see them again. Very disappointing!!

We stand by our workmanship and can have someone back out to look at it again from the leak last week.   I had high expectations for SW Roofing. The quote and walk-through left me feeling confident in my choice. However, I have found several aspects of my experience to be lacking. The work performed was mediocre, several issues have surfaced, which have yet to be addressed almost one year later of trying to get it resolved. The scheduling and communication are down right horrible.

  The workmanship on the roof left much to be desired. There was little attention to detail, and it seemed like rushing the job took precedence over quality.

  Did not replace any of the plywood before laying shingles my entire house and garage roof looks like a wave Did not do my eve's kept them did not reimburse me will not answer the phone worst experience ever!!!! It was booked under Williams You should also have a letter from my attorney's office MLT

  Initially when I asked for a quote Mitch was quick and responded, told me he would have a quote to me within a few days. When I hadn't heard from him a few days later I messaged to see if I had missed the quote in my email or I should move on to another company. He apologized and said he would send it when he got back to the office....5 days later I sent another request because I had still not received a quote. I haven't heard from Mitch again.... ghosted :( 2 more weeks have passed, no response.

  SW Roofing was informative, proffesional and willing to go above and beyond ( i had just over a month to submit claim and have roof completed before claim window closed ). Nic made sure to assure me that everything would be completed on time and it was.Nic went above and beyond to even drive out to our house to explain the confusing SGI claim.Roofers were very efficient, respectful and cleaned up behind themselves.Office staff was prompt and courteous in their email response and receipt of payment. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone needing roof work.

  I am an electrical contractor who was replacing a service on a clients house. Sw mistakenly removed an old mast that we were going to reuse on the garage when they re did the shingles. They took full accountability and agreed to pay to get the portion or the electrical mast on the garage repaired. They were fair and quick with payment and we were able to get power back to the clients garage within a week. I know situations like these can be complicated and frustrating so I was impressed with the professionalism and the prompt resolution SW was able to bring to the table.

  During my time at this home I have had the roof replaced 3 times and was very stressed after the latest and greatest hail storm. When Adam came out to assess the roof and determine the damage and potential costs, he was extremely professional and friendly - put my mind at ease. Kassi at the office answered all my questions in a timely fashion and Chandler came out to ensure the work was done to his satisfaction as the owner. All three team mates were exceptionally brilliant at putting my mind at ease and addressing any concerns I had. I would fully endorse this roofing company. Great job team.   Chris was an incredible guide throughout the entire process from A to Z and everything in between. I could not ask for a smoother and more reliable process; the expertise, experience, and in-depth knowledge were on clear display from the beginning. The shingles crew were incredibly quick and proficient but more than that they were considerate and regularly went above and beyond. I am very impressed by all aspects of the project, I would hire SW Roofing again in a heartbeat!

  It’s been a pleasure working with Chris and Kassi on our calgary home. I wish I just found them sooner. They helped also coordinate new placement for vents with an solar company I was working with. I had also paid a third party inspect their crews work and everything turned out very smooth and high quality. We replaced house/ garage roof with high quality malarkey shingles, and changed 1 1/2 sides of the house vinyl and soft metals. They are organized and that’s what you need from a company.
