  Impossible to contact. I tried first by sending an email via their web page. No reply. Then three phone calls leaving a message each time. No reply. Finally went to the office. Nobody there. How could I come to any other conclusion than they are a flaky company. I'd give zero stars if possible.

  Efficient and pleasant to negotiate with, and the work was done in the blink of an eye! It was nice to find such a trustworthy company, especially as I was arranging everything from three provinces away!

  We called Riptide after we noticed a soft spot over our extension and water intrusion. The job ended up being a LOT more than a simple shingle replacement, including replacement of the roof, shingles, and back wall. It didn't go particularly well, here are the highlights: - The project was marred with scheduling snafus. Even at the beginning of the project, we agreed on times, made ourselves available, and no one to showed up. This happened in the estimating of the project, and while the interior was being rebuilt. - The work quality was rough around the edges, with the roof line now being noticeably less level than it was before the repair; repeated call backs over cracked drywall, holes, ledges, and gaps (especially around the corners); minor imperfections throughout (such as water lines clamped weird etc.) - During the project, unforeseen issues arose. Such as, the hood vent of our water heater was dislodged and damaged to the point that it wasn't venting to the outside (which I replaced and repaired myself) and the electrical was cut for the lighting in the room. - The electrical repair was one of our biggest concerns not only because it caused the crew to be called out for an additional two days, but also because the repair was not completed by an electrician Through multiple conversations, the crew listened and understood where we were coming from and could tell that we weren't particularly happy. They attempted to fix the issues that we brought up. This included doing a bit of the drywall mudding and taping (that was above and beyond the original scope of work) and gave us a 5% discount. They took responsibility and accountability, which is good, but still leaves a bad taste in the mouth, you know

  The guys did a great job of replacing my wind-battered shingles. They also came at the perfect time, for just as they left, a significant rainstorm hit us. Highly recommend!

  Riptide Demolition was hired to take down an older 2 story house and garage including the basement. Their pricing is better than anyone else we found and they were very efficient in their work. Everything went smoothly and their customer service is second to none! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality contractor!

  Riptide came to the rescue and fixed my garage roof before winter. Did a fantastic job! Matched my house, cleaned up thoroughly and left no trace. (Aside from the new shingles!) Highly recommend these guys!
