Had all windows replaced. I had to clean up after installer, Derrick. He left small screws on floor that I picked up and sucked one into sweeper. Also, on the outside he left aluminum shavings on ground which our dog could have stepped on. Both of these were left by all 9 windows! The last thing was when he caulked the windows, one window was not completed, it was like he ran out of caulk and didn’t want to open new one.

Our door was installed and everything was great until an issue came up. I have been attempting to get into contact with this company for 6 months with just a work around of phone calls and getting told they'll call me back that day and never hearing from them again. As great as the door look the customer service isn't it.

Disruptive salesmen on properties despite signage requesting no solicitors. Stick to digital marketing in 2026. Thanks.

Long read, but worth it if you're considering Surber's. I'll start off by saying the sales guy that came out was great. Very informative and polite. The installation was a breeze. There was only 1 guy, but he worked his butt off to get my …

when your walking sales people are told no you say they are trained to overcome resistance. I think a better option would be to leave the property without continuing. the fellows were talking about how they didn't like soliciting people in their homes as they walked off. person on the phone who was introduced as their supervisor and later said he was the operations manager made a surprising admission. he wouldn't want to do that job either...way to lead buddy maybe check the recording. that is what he said

Hello! I will say in our 2-3 years of canvasing, and over 60,000 doors knocked, we've never had a bad review in regard to canvassing which honestly shows how rare something like this is. Our canvassers are trained to show the clipboard once to show our updated product list, then at that point if are told no they are instructed to leave. This could also be a result of having two new trainees having their first day out in the field today. I will look into who was at the door and try to get a better view of the situation and act accordingly. With all that said I do think there was a misunderstanding with you and our Operations Manager. I'm under the impression he said he's not a canvasser, not that he wouldn't do the job. Hope you have a good day.

Let’s just say our experience with Surber’s has been a challenge to say the least. They put in 18 windows. When they caulked the windows they used non paintable caulk inside. I also asked while they were caulking the windows if they would …

Mrs. Barkdull, You are 100% correct we had some challenges on your project and I accepted the blame. We used the wrong type of caulking on the interior "non-paintable". I did visit the site on 9/22/22 to help resolve any issues. I asked for us to examine every window personally and we walked to every window so we could fix any issues. We came to an agreement of which windows needed redone. I had Mike remove and reseal any issues. I asked Mrs. Barkdull to inspect each window as he finished. He was instructed not to come back to the office until all issues have been resolved. We did have one window missing the grids and was replaced. I requested that if there was any issues with the paint to please notify me and I'll help remedy the situation. We personally, inspected each window together and no window had scribble marks. 1 1/2 years later marks appeared and we are replacing at no cost. This is the first time we've been notified of a damaged shingle resulting in a roof leak. If I had known this I would have sent my roofing crew to repair and hired a painter to repair the damage. I assumed that all issues had been resolved since we do not collect on payment until customer is happy especially when issues arise. The contract was paid in full 9/22/22. We learned a valuable lesson during this installation we longer send multiple installers and laborers. We only send one installer with laborer. We experienced zero accountability during this installation. My fault for sending too many people (6) to finish the job quickly. We have slowed down the installations to ensure attention to detail is met. We also implemented an after install visit to all installation "brand ambassador program." We've expanded this program all cu

Many Years ago I hired Surber's for many Windows to be replaced and New Insulated siding all around on my House. The Windows are fine, but the Siding installation is questionable. The Installers thought it was a good idea to mount several electrical boxes just to the siding and not any electrical boxes behind them. I have just completed having Two sides of the House siding replaced this week and they installed electrical boxes to the studs of the house and installed new J Blocks. I spent a lot of money with Surber's before. I spoke with Charles over the phone concerning the electrical boxes and light installation. He tried to tell me that my installation was the same as the install on his house and that everything is fine. Well the install at my house was NOT fine, but it is now. Surber's did supply us with a very nice Front Room Window and did some very nice Finish Work in cold weather. I must acknowledge that. It just seemed like the last day of the Siding install was on a Friday and the Crew was anxious to get the job done and did many short cuts. I have had McGuff Roofing here to replace all the siding in the problem areas and installed the proper Electrical Boxes to the House Studs on the North side of the house. McGuff did an excellent job.

We did approximately 200 square feet of siding in 2008 and 1300 sqft in 2009. We did receive a call regarding J-blocks in 2022 almost 14 years after installation. The conversation was the J blocks used were incorrect type. I personally inspected the ones installed on my home they matched the picture sent. There was no conversation about electrical boxes inside the walls not installed. We did not install any wiring on the home only installed J-blocks over the existing outlets. We visited this jobsite 6/2009 additional work, 7/2010 sales request, 5/2011 service request, 10/2015 service request, 3/2017 service request, 7/2021 material pick up. With numerous visits and many different technicians and factory representatives there was no mention during these visits of J-block issues.

I'm glad we went with Surber's, the staff is very professional and efficient. The install team led up by Mike G. did a fantastic job of communicating the procedures, and answering our questions quickly and with substance that made sense. In other words, not a bunch of double talk like you get from people that really don't know what they are doing, but are trying to fake their way through it. The owner, Charles, came out and double checked all measurements, and made sure we understood what was going to happen, and allowed us the opportunity to provide input on design thoughts. This company has genuine construction, and carpentry knowledge and experience. Job well done!!!!

Surber’s did an amazing job installing our new walk in shower. The workers (Garrison & Nathan) were very courteous and explained everything they were doing. Also they put down drop cloths everywhere they were walking and they cleaned up all the mess. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a bathroom remodel. Tim J.

The team (Mike B., Jason F., Haven B. & Ethan) that installed my replacement windows did a fantastic job! They were prompt, efficient, respectful of my property and communicated clearly. The windows are such an improvement from the builder grade windows originally installed in my home, we can already see a difference! Highly recommended!

We were replacing a double-hung window in a bathroom with a large rain glass window so we can install a shower there. I was surprised when Jason F. came out; himself (I guess I was expecting 2 because of the size and weight.) Jason was friendly, very competent, and got the job done in a lot last time than I would have expected. It looks great.
