  Sunshine roofing was respectful and knowledgeable about what I had going on in my roof and happy to assist me. But when they came, check things out and it was time to make an appointment for him to come back do the work. They ghosts me, no calls back no emails, no nothing. so this is a form of bad business Don’t recommend

  We are sorry you feel that you were "ghosted" Mr. Newsome. Mr. Pacetti met with your wife on June 16th and gave her a handwritten proposal for a repair. No authorization to proceed was given at that time. Instead, you contacted Mr. Pacetti with some questions via phone and text messages, which he responded to and then emailed you a revised proposal. That was on Friday, June 19th. In that June 19th email to you he included instructions on how to proceed. So, respectfully, we are not "ghosting" you, we are simply waiting for the signed proposal to proceed.

  Erica - I was a little behind with the estimate, but I replied to your email on April 28th and attached the estimate - did you not receive it? Our customers' satisfaction with our services from initial contact to project completion is very important to us. Therefore, receiving such a negative review at this point seems a little extreme. Truthfully, you contacted our office on Monday 4/21/25 to schedule an appointment for a quote. Appointment was set for Wednesday 4/23/25 and an email confirmation was sent to you - which you responded to, confirming date and time. The appointment was kept. On Thursday morning 4/24/25 you emailed us requesting an update on the status of your proposal. Our office responded, thanking you for your patience and that you should receive it the next morning (Friday 4/25). Unfortunately, that did not happen and for that, we apologize. However, a proposal was sent to you on Monday 4/28/25. So, truthfully, it was only 3 business days until you received the proposal - not weeks. Your emails were not ignored. We re-sent the proposal one more time on Tuesday 5/6/25 and asked if you had received it. We have not gotten a response at this time. We hope that you will reconsider your review and hopefully understand that sometimes delays happen through no one's fault , carelessness, or unprofessionalism.

  Charged $5700 for repairs on a flat pitched roofs over my second floor sunroom used as an office. The “repairs” were substandard to say the least. I think the repairs actually made the roof leaks worse. My work laptop sustained water damage twice and cost me 2000 to replace the motherboard and other components.

  I purchased a home in 2020 and I have roof leaks, have been told by several tradesmen that my dormers were improperly flashed. When I was finally able to find roofing permit ( long story ) I called the roofer, Sunshine Roofing. The owner came out and said they do not do metal roofs, which is untrue. He refused to give me a price to do repairs, after 13 yrs I didn't expect him to do it for free. Very unhappy because no one wants to get involved in repairing another persons mess, guess I will have to buy a whole new roof, somehow, Teresa de Onis

You can check with St Johns County Building Department and reference your roofing permit #12016194 issued 11-25-202 and Completed 12-22-2020 / James Troy Sullivan was the contractor from All American Roofing & Exteriors LLC. We would respectfully request you retract your negative review for Sunshine Roof Services LLC and contact the appropriate company.   Yes, sorry this happened. I do all the estimates myself, and sometimes do get behind with providing estimates. I came out on March 29th, so as of yesterday, it was 2 weeks vs the several you claim. Sorry that I was not able to meet your expectations.

  They DON'T do quality work. look at the shingles in middle picture. They WILL NOT stand by their work . This is 1 year old job. Previous owner PAID over $8000, and this leaked in less than a year. Roof had 5 year warranty. Sunshine came out & would not claim their own work mistakes. AVOID AVOID AVOID! SUNSHINE TAKES YOUR MONEY & RUNS!!! BUYER BEWARE OF SUNSHINE ROOFING! Update* Chuck, As a matter of fact, YOU are the person that came out & would not claim your own companys work. You stated that it wasn't your job, got back in your fancy truck & drove away as another company FIXED your less than 1 y/o job that you SUNSHINE ROOFING was paid over $8,000 for. How many chances should you have had to make it right? I waited 3 days for you to call me back. You had plenty of chances. Stand by your work. Do QUALITY work, the first time & you will avoid these kind of problems. Once Again AVOID SUNSHINE ROOFING AVOID SUNSHINE ROOFING. AVOID SUNSHINE ROOFING

  Very disappointing . This company installed new plywood over rotten beams without a word to me. At our initial meeting it was agreed that if rotting wood was found they would let me know and I would have it replaced . I only found out when the fascia and soffit were being painted ,when the roof was done. The wood was sawdust . Worst part of this , the job foreman took pictures of the new wood installed over the rotten wood and shared them with Sunshine' s owner . No one thought I should know . The rotten wood has now been replaced . But to do so the metal fascia had to be disrupted and is now bent out of shape . All of this could have been avoided by just letting me know the condition of the wood . Sad way to treat a trusting customer .

  When we purchased the house the prior owner had installed a new roof so we had not personally worked with Sunshine. When we contacted Sunshine for information they responded promptly and completely with all of the warranty information that we need. So very professional.. Thank you Chuck for calling back on a Friday when your staff had already left for the weekend. And thank you Kathrine for responding early on Monday.

  Did a fantastic job. The 26 gauge metal roof is a definite upgrade from the shingles. Did a good install and post cleanup. Would recommend.

  Having a roof replaced is a major undertaking, but with Sunshine Roof Services, I felt confident throughout the process. My first contact with the company was when Chuck Pacetti, the owner, came to my home to assess the roof and give me a quote. He spent a lot of time showing me materials, explaining the process and answering my many questions. Because of all the information I received from Chuck, I felt much more knowledgable and confident moving forward. I did get quotes from 2 other companies, but Chuck's presentation and Sunshine's price left me with no doubt about choosing Sunshine to do the replacement. Every step of the process was handled efficiently and communication was ongoing and excellent through Kathy, the office manager. The roofing crew for the job worked long and hard and were able to complete the job in 2 days, including clean-up. My new roof looks amazing, and I highly recommend Chuck Pacetti/ Sunshine Roof Services to anyone who needs a roof replacement.
