  They refused to guarantee there work so I decided to not allow them to do the work required!

  Mr. Hay, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. To clarify, Fidus Roofing did not perform any work on this roof and therefore there was no warranty claim that could be denied. We were contacted to provide an estimate for a repair on an existing roof system that was originally installed by another contractor. The area in question involved a transition between a shingle roof and a covered porch tie-in, which can be one of the more challenging areas to diagnose and repair. During our evaluation, we explained that while we could attempt a repair, we could not responsibly provide a leak warranty because we did not install the original roof system and would not be addressing the entire metal roofing assembly. We believe in being transparent with homeowners upfront rather than making promises we cannot confidently stand behind. Our goal is always to provide honest recommendations, even when that means declining to offer a warranty on a repair with known limitations and unknown conditions.   Horrible company. Truly the WORST. Hire them if you expect them to sub-contract the job and refuse to stand behind or even fix common sense solutions. Have never seen a company with such a lack of pride after the sale is complete. They truly do NOT care about their customers once they have received full payment.

  I selected this company based on good reviews. Sadly, either many of the reviews are exaggerated or the quality of this business has deteriorated significantly. Less than two years after replacing the roof and gutters/gutter covers, the roof is sagging; gutters are sagging as well, with gutter covers not functioning properly and accumulating debris much faster than industry standards. There is a major leak caused by Fidus employees cutting too much board and cracking the edge. Fidus is demanding $350 for the water test that was done to diagnose an issue created by them. They are threatening to pull warranty on my roof because of this. I am extremely disapointed. Be careful if you decide to do business with this company.

  I rarely give goggle reviews but this has to be said. Only gave them a 1 star because the option wasn’t there for a zero. Had pavers installed by Fidus 3 yrs ago.Had to come out twice to rework. Now we have depressions, cracks, etc Fidus now wants $3400 to repair their poor workmanship. So they don’t stand by their install and they won’t respond to us! Horrible, horrible, horrible!!! You’re asking me to call you? I’ve sent two emails without a response. Why don’t you call me??? Poor operation, buyer beware! Still no response from Fidus. Don’t use this company folks. They will rip you off! Well folks Fidus still hasn’t responded a week later. I’m sure they’ll be glad to know this is my last post. Found an independent paver that did a wonderful repair job for $1000. I’ll never use Fidus again. Poor company, poor workmanship!

  Replaced our roof to lower our insurance costs- we had no problems with the old roof- no leaks. Six months after Fidus replaced our roof we had a leak with ceiling discoloration. We contacted the company and after a 5 minute review Fidus said the leak was due to the exterior wall and said they had no responsibility. Will have an independent review but never had a problem before Fidus replaced the roof.

  This is not Steven's review but his wife's Betty because she paid for this work, but we both agree on this review. We had hired Fidus to lay some pavers down on our property. Before doing that they had to deal with the existing irrigation pipes there. Instead of removing the pipes from the area before capping off the area, they merely capped where the sprnklers had been, then laid pavers over the pipes, which eventually cracked and leaked water up through the pavers. We wanted them to remove the pipes, but they did all this while we were not watching and later said capping them was enough. Then after putting the pavers in place, they used sand to put between the pavers. We were not pleased with that because the pavers were obviously on an incline, and every time it rained or the wind blew it took the sand with it. So we hired someone else to put a more permanent sand subsitiute in between the pavers, and it looked lovely. Eventually when we turned on the sprinklers for that zone of the lawn there sprung a leak under the pavers. Water seemed to come up in multiple places. It is obvious they had no clue how to handle putting pavers down where there was a lawn sprinkling system. They may be great roofers and do an adequate job of putting pavers in a place where no sprinklers were laid, but that would be in new construction, but not in an established place with underground sprinklers. We have to hire someone else to take out the pavers, remove the sprinkler pipes and put the foundation back in and then the pavers.

  I had an appointment for an estimate over a month and a half ago. He said he would have it ready in less than a week and two months later I still haven't heard anything. I called the estimator and left a voicemail and nothing. I called the main office and they said they would contact him and nothing. I texted him and still haven't heard from him. I guess they must not care about the business of a new roof I will bring them. If I'm having this many issues getting an estimate I can imagine what nightmare it would be to get a hold of them if anything goes wrong with the reroof.

  Ryan inspected our attic in search of a leak based on a water stain in the ceiling. There was no evidence of water in the attic, so he returned the next day with a supervisor and crew. After a hose/water test, they determined a combination of rain and directional wind drove water up into a small crevice, probably only once. They filled the crevice to prevent a future event. Everyone was polite, helpful, efficient, and kept us fully informed.

  Even though we had a small roof repair, the work was completed with the same quality and customer satisfaction as if they were replacing the entire roof. I can wholeheartedly recommend them for any roof work you need done. We will definitely use them for any future repairs or if the roof needs to be replaced.

  Almost 10 years ago Fidus replaced our roof. They were awesome then. Recently there was an issue with the roof tiles, NOT the fault of Fidus - rather the materials themselves. Fidus came out in less than 24 hours and resolved the issue for me. Fidus will stand by their work, and I highly recommend them. I wouldn't recommend another roofing company. Craig and Nate were instrumental in ensuring we were taken care of. Stephanie was easy to communicate with about any questions. Thank you everyone! Initial review: Fidus replaced our roof and installed pavers in our backyard. They are great to work with and the quality is unmatched. I highly recommend Fidus. We recently had a plumbing issue which affected the pavers and Cassandra was a huge help. She was attentive and responsive. Fidus is awesome!
