  Thanks for your OPINION Patrick. Really didn’t need to leave a 1 star review to give an OPINION though. The Facebook comment was probably enough. You may need to find some better things to do with your time bud. Our clients that CHOOSE to do the work in winter take advantage of better pricing, quicker turnarounds and no compromise on work or clean up quality. We don’t ever take upfront deposits and people pay only when they are 100% confident the job has been done right. Thanks for giving us a chance to promote ourself just a bit more Patrick. 😊

  DO NOT GET a quote from them if your insurance is paying…... I got a referral from a neighbor who said she got a very good deal with them through their sales agent Mahaz. When I inquired I was given a quote that was 20% higher than anywhere else. Digging a around I found out that they discriminate based on their client profile and you have to be from a certain religion and part of the world to get preferred pricing. I also came across an Indian couple who had terrible experience with these guys. I already know they will try to refute all this by saying look at all the great reviews we have but be aware and always get multiple quotes if you are working with this company especially if you are not from their preferred category. EDIT: As initially claimed, here we are with a great ChatGPT response from the owners that really doesn’t hold any weight or seriousness on their part. Also, they seem to be thinking that people cannot own houses in multiple provinces. All I am saying is buyer beware, these guys will do whatever to keep their ratings high including getting their friends and community members to post reviews here- don’t believe me, just look at the names of reviewers. Also, I was told by other female friend that they wouldn’t speak to a woman and asked her to get a male on the line to talk *eye roll* we live in Canada?

  Okay “Patrick”, here’s the real version — straight from the heart. You left a 1-star review from a fake account created just days ago, and we have no record of ever quoting anyone under your name. I’ll put my money where my mouth is: I guarantee you $1,000 if you can provide a legitimate quote from us under the name Patrick Reeves. Just reply with a screenshot, and I’ll transfer the money to the email listed on that quote. The reality is, you’re not Patrick. You’re likely the same individual who asked us for a fake invoice and threatened to leave a bad review when we refused. Or maybe you’re the siding guy we had to let go last summer for doing poor work. Your accusations are baseless and don’t even deserve a breakdown. If you're going to make up a fake story, at least put some effort into it.   Just to clarify, Umair did offer to send a handyman to address the chimney breast surround/chimney flashing; however, that offer was declined at the time. Since then, the handyman we had available for that type of small repair has relocated to Edmonton and is no longer available to assist. Additionally, please note that the chimney flashing or related work was not included in the scope of the original roofing contract. It was mentioned as a potential additional repair that could be handled separately for approximately $400.00, but it was not finalized or scheduled. If you’d like, we can help connect you with a local contractor or handyman in your area who can assist with this type of repair.

  These guys did not want to send me a roof and siding quote until they saw my insurance quote. After they saw it, a couple days later, I got a quote for a bit less than my insurance quote. *Edit: I will add to this since they decided to respond. I got a text message saying they were just about to send me a quote to send my insurance company. I said that’s great and that my insurance company also sent me a quote. They didn’t send me the quote they had already made up after I said that. It was after another visit and after I sent the insurance quote that I received anything. This isn’t the only company to do this when insurance is involved. I dealt with Khan to start.

  Straight path Construction is the worst roofing company in Calgary.They did a very bad job on my roof last June 2024. My roof is leaking and the shingles are installed crooked and look terrible.They gave me 15 year warranty and is not honoring it.They damaged my guttering and sprinkler on my lawn. They destroyed my flower garden. Don't hire this company.

  Hi Jayant, We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy, but we must clarify several inaccuracies in your review. We completed your full roof replacement on June 20th, 2024, based on a clear and signed contract that included the removal and replacement of shingles, vents, ridge caps, underlayment, and drip edge. Wall/step flashing and fascia/gable trim were not installed, as they were never included in the contract, despite what the other contractor may have stated. The leak you experienced was caused by the old wall/step flashing — as confirmed by the other contractor who inspected your home. Even though we were not contractually obligated, we offered to help patch certain areas as a courtesy, which you declined. Instead, you demanded that we pay you, so you could hire another contractor to complete additional work that was never agreed upon in our contract as well as give you a full refund. You also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which was thoroughly reviewed and ultimately rejected as invalid. We stand behind our work and continue to honor our warranty for any issues covered under the original agreement. However, we cannot take responsibility for unrelated items or work outside the contracted scope. We take pride in our reputation and always strive to do right by our clients. — Straight Path Construction

  Hi Hannah, We completed work at the neighbouring property approximately one year ago. The gutter layout was completed based on the property owner’s request at that time. We were contacted once regarding workers being on your property, and once that was brought to our attention, the crew was promptly moved. We have not received any previous communication regarding leaking gutters, drainage issues, ice buildup, or concerns about improper installation. If we had been made aware of these concerns earlier, we would have been happy to review them directly.
