My husband and I have used Foothills Roofing for work on our rental properties. This year we had them replace the roof on our personal residence. We spoke to the owner, Mike, before hand, as we were worried about our flower and vegetable gardens getting damaged, and we were assured the crew was very careful. We also spoke to Mike about our pet rabbits who would be very scared of the noise, as we previously had a rabbit die of fright during a thunderstorm. We explained that we would have to be home with the rabbits when the roofers were here. Beforehand, we made a trip to the vet to get medication to sedate the rabbits. We were told the roofers would show up on Wednesday afternoon, so we left work early, went home, gave the rabbits the sedation medication, and waited. No phone call. No email. No roofers. We took time off work for nothing. The next day I stayed home and again sedated the rabbits. The roofers showed up, and were, for the most part, respectful and hard-working. It was hot out, so I spent two days bringing them jugs of ice water. Everything seemed to be going fine except my flower garden was flattened by old shingles that came off the roof. My husband called Mike about it, and the crew apologized and things improved. However, on the second day, a driver with a truck and trailer arrived to deliver more shingles. I happened to be outside when he pulled up. He asked how things were going, and I told him fine, other than the flower garden got damaged. The driver immediately got very bellegerent and said that it was not possible and it was just plastic. I said I had pulled the shingles out of the flowerbed myself. The driver said I needed to expect that the garden would get damaged. I said I had been assured it would not by Mike. The driver said the crew would not have thrown shingles off the roof. I said I had doorbell camera footage to prove it. The driver raised his voice and told me to prove it. While I was trying to bring it up on my phone, the driver wa

Got the work done as recommended by them two years ago. It leaked even more this year. On my complaint Mike came and gave me another quote for $3200. Since I didn’t have the good experience of them in the past, I asked him if they can offer any warranty for their work. No response from them since then.

    Reply from the business

I am sorry you are not happy with my recommendation Zafar. I told you in my last email I believe the roof intake vents got covered with snow due to a couple of heavy snow falls this winter and this prevented air from circulating through the attic. As I said in my email, "With the modern designs of many new home traditional vents installed in the soffit of homes, that let cool dry air into the attic, have been replaced with vents mounted low on the roof. The problem with this is they can be covered with snow and are then ineffective. Without air flowing through the attic condensation accumulates on the underside of the roof deck and framing members. Builders use the cheapest roof vents they can, they are made of plastic and only protrude from the roof about 3 or 4 inches these are easily covered with snow. I have attached our quote to replace the attic ventilation system on your home." The work we completed two years ago was to correct the bathroom ceiling fans leaking air into the attic. Again I am sorry we could not help you with your problem.

Patrick and his team installed a heat trace cable for us to fix a problem roof area that accumumated snow drifts and melted on to our sidewalk causing an ice hazard. The work was done well and it performed perfectly in the last snowfall. Thanks Patrick!

Thank you for your review Ryan. I am glad we could help you. Ice on the sidewalks can be a very dangerous situation especially on dark mornings.

As a property inspector I have seen my share of terrible roof installation. Foothills is one roofing company I am happy to recommend to my clients and have even had them come and do work on my own house. Professional, clean, and on time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If fascia repair were an Olympic sport, Patrick would bring home the gold… and probably patch the podium while he’s at it. 🥇🛠️ I was on the hunt for a reliable contractor like a squirrel searching for a nut in a snowstorm — then along came Patrick from Foothills Roofing, calm, confident, and with a quote so reasonable I had to check if I was dreaming (I wasn’t — but my wallet definitely sighed in relief). Patrick and his colleague didn’t just repair my fascia — they revived it. That section of my house now looks like it went to a luxury fascia spa retreat and came back glowing with purpose. They were: • On time (a rare superpower in the contractor world), • Neat and tidy (I half expected them to vacuum my thoughts too), • Friendly and professional, and • Absolutely fair with pricing (I didn’t even have to sell a kidney!). Reliable? Like your grandma’s 40-year-old Thermos. Efficient? Like a squirrel on espresso with a to-do list. Would I recommend them? In a heartbeat. And if fascia could speak, it would say, “Thank you, Patrick. I feel beautiful again.” So if you’re reading this and still wondering if Foothills Roofing is the one — stop scrolling and call them. Your roof, your fascia, and your sanity will thank you. – Winfred (Also known as “The guy whose fascia is now fabulous.”) 😄

I have used this company for over 10 years, on many small and larger scale projects. I could always rely on Mike, the owner to provide competitive pricing, and to ensure the work is completed to the industry standards. I’ve never needed a third-party inspector because I can count on the ownership to make sure the work is completed properly. In over 10 years of services, I’ve had no issues throughout the multiple projects Foothills roofing has completed. I would recommend this company. Thank you!
