I had Stewart Roofing re-roof my typical Barrhaven home in November 2016. Here is my review. Of the 3 estimates I obtained Stewart Roof was the most expensive but I was looking for a professional, quality job and did not mind paying for it. They replaced my skylight with a new skylight that was obviously too large for the opening. Strangely they did not mention anything to me, I guess they were hoping I would not notice it? I had to call the salesman who came back and agreed it was the wrong skylight. A new skylight was ordered and installed several weeks later! They forgot to install the rain channels as documented in their quote and that are apparently required for warranty to be valid. They came back and installed the rain channels but didn't locate them properly so now whenever it rains the water simply goes past the rain channel onto the shingles. They left lots of old nails and roofing material on the roof which became visible in the spring after the snow and rain had a chance to push the debris down the roof to a viewable area. My roof leaked just 2 weeks after installation (a Saturday night)! This caused the ceiling and wall drywall in the area to become completely soaked. To their credit they did come back on Sunday morning and coated the area with several tubes of caulking to stop the leak. On Monday, I spoke with the foreman for over an hour who then proceeded to try and blame me for the leak and wanted me to pay $200 to correct the issue (yes this is on top of the $8200 invoice). I obviously refused and decided to take it higher up the chain. I talked with the owner and let him know my concerns about the quality of the installation of my roof. He eventually agreed to come back in the spring to correct the leak properly. During the spring repair job one of the workers carelessly drove over my lawn causing an 8 foot long indentation on the grass which had just been covered with top soil and seeded. My warranty information was very difficult to obtain. I

We used Stewart Roofing in 2024 for a repair of our flat roof, and again recently this year for a separate minor roof repair after a major storm caused a leak. Both times the service provided by Stewart Roofing was exemplary. They were responsive, thoughtful, methodical, and completed the work very quickly and for a reasonable price. The end result was excellent quality! Despite being very busy they make time for a proper assessment promptly. Stan and his team are fantastic and I can’t say enough good things about them! We will continue to use this company for our roofing needs and are lucky to have found them!

We had a roof leak and called Stewart Roofing to help. They showed up the next day, had a quote to us a day after that, and were there fixing the roof within a few days. For us, they checked all the boxes - quick to respond, a detailed quote, great price, great service and a great result! Thanks Stewart Roofing.

Overall Stewart Roofing provided the beset balance of all the quotes I received, aiming for longer lasting materials and longer warranty period, but still competitively priced. They resolved some venting issues as well with this job, so the upper floor is much cooler on hot days. Thank you!

Stewart Roofing Ltd. just replaced my main roof and did major repairs to my flat, carport roof. My wife and I are very pleased with the work they did - excellent value for the money, very professional from the beginning to the end of our work. Highly recommend them. They use very good quality materials, stand behind their work and their customer service is exceptional. For work to be done, call them them first and ask for Stan - he is the man!
