Wrote a positive review after our roof was installed because the workmen were very professional. However, our roof has continuously leaked since installation. Spangler came out again twice claiming that the bad areas were fixed. The roof still leaks and now the company will not help and are blaming the problem on the siding. I would stay away from this company

BEWARE OF THE FINE PRINT!!! I am a local Realtor and recommended Spangler to a client. Once they had removed her roof, it needed to have some decking replaced and they quoted her an outrageous price, a good $1.50 a foot higher than all other estimates adding another 6K to the cost of her roof. She calls me in tears saying that she didn't sign anything with that kind of additional expense approved. So I get on the phone with the owner who points me to a very small bit of fine print in the contract stating the exorbitant fee for their roof decking. All other points of the contract were large and bold, but they chose to hide this detail in the VERY TINY fine print. Such a bad business practice and one that will have me NEVER recommending this roofing company again. Take your business to a roofer who doesn't need to hide things in the contract and clearly states costs up front.

Our condo association in Treasure Island has used Spangler Roofing for years, and Mike Spangler has come through for us each time, including for emergency repairs needed because of the 2024 hurricanes. Highly recommend. Craftsman quality work.
