  DISAPPOINTED! Although Snap Construction /Affordable Insulation were hard-working and friendly, they did NOT execute the proper replacement of insulation at my home as promised during the November/December 2025 project period: 1. When installing new Roof Vents, they cut into my Rafter/Truss at two locations, as they did not correctly locate the Roof Vents in the cavities between the 2x4 Rafter/Trusses, but instead cut the holes for the new Roof Vents directly over the 2x4 Rafter/Trusses. This weakened the wood structure on both sides of the Roof Vents, and also blocked the air flow out the Roof Vents (see attached photos). 2. They performed work that they did not have a license to perform, resulting in not being able to obtain a “Building Permit/Inspection” as they had said they would do. 3. They had extremely poor communication with me, the customer, and between their Sales and Production Department. 4. I would NOT recommend this company!

  Will not hire again. A salesperson left before an insulation project was scheduled to start. Zero communication from the company after that, no advance notice of needing to leave the house all day, and a job that was supposed to be done in one day turned in to a three day.

  We strive to resolve any issues with professionalism and fairness. In this case, there was a misunderstanding in communication regarding the scope of our services, and once identified, we acknowledged the mistake and offered a $500 refund—an amount the customer said would make them happy. Unfortunately, after agreeing that the $500 would resolve the matter, the customer then demanded an additional $500 specifically in exchange for removing or revising their negative review. When we declined to pay more, the situation escalated with further reviews and direct threats to continue leaving negative feedback unless we paid $100 per day. We take these threats seriously and have fully documented the conversation. We’ve submitted the evidence to the platform and are working with legal counsel to protect our business and reputation. Our team remains committed to doing what’s right for our customers, but we cannot support or respond to threats of this nature.

  Dan went on vacation during our siding job and a bunch of mistakes were made that we had to correct. The crew lead tried to argue with me that we chose a mismatched color only to learn when I had to pull my own copy of the invoice that they indeed ordered the wrong color. Then they made some cutting errors that we decided just weren’t worth bringing up because we just wanted the job finished. Snap said they’d have the materials that were put on my lawn (instead of the driveway where I told them to put them, literally closer to the project area) gone by end of day. On a Friday. They didn’t show so the materials sat and ruined our lawn. Luckily for them I’m not a lawn-guy. Terrible service all-around but it was an insurance claim so they put as little effort into it as possible. I’m surprised they asked for my review. This was years ago and I was livid with them!

  Kevin, this not something that is easy for me to see. As the owner I can assure you had I known this at that time I would have done whatever it took to turn this around for you.   Project: redo insulation in our knee walls The team was quick to get an estimate but that is where the responsiveness ended. They needed to reschedule twice due to, once due to heat, once due to staffing. Then, once they finally came they did not complete the job and I had to call them back to finish. Then, on the follow up date, they needed to reschedule again. At the end of the day, did it get done, yes. Would I work with them again, no.

  Dan was a patient and helpful guide through the entire siding design and decision process. He also provided helpful insights for other projects we’ve been considering. Supply issues delayed the siding installation team, but they communicated proactively about the timeline adjustments that would be needed. Once the materials arrived, the install team was efficient and friendly. It was a relatively small, straightforward project, but Snap treated us as if it was a big deal. The next time we need help with a project, Snap will be our first call.

  5 Stars! After 35 years our home, garage and shed needed a new roof. Devin with SNAP came highly recommended, so we called him on a Friday. He was able to come and look at our home the next day which was a Saturday. Devin was professional, answered our questions, he was kind, trustworthy, and has a great sense of humor, he always responded quickly when we reached out to him from start to finish. Devin was able to get us scheduled quickly to get our beautiful new roof. Devin, Tim, Oden and his crew were perfectionists when it came to our house, garage and shed. They all went above and beyond, more than we expected. We have new decking and upgraded to class 4 shingles which means hail resistance and a reduction in our homeowners insurance, it’s a beautiful new roof. Devin filled out the necessary paperwork for our homeowners insurance to apply for a discounted rate once their work was completed. Our neighbors commented on what a great job they all did and told us how nice our new roof looks. We highly recommend giving Devin a call if you're in need of a new roof!

  They covered the fascia & soffit's plus new gutters & downspouts on our 1929 Minneapolis house. We had trouble matching the yellow gold color of the trim. They recommended a bronze color metal which came out great. I would recommend Snap & would go with them again.
