I met Scott McConaughey and his wife Glenda one Saturday afternoon by chance. Our house is 23 years old, with a roof starting to show signs of concern. (Many houses similar age in our neighborhood have started replacing roofs) Glenda setup an appointment for Scott and me to meet and discuss the roof replacement project. Scott walked me through the Owens Corning shingle product he uses and the exact benefits and why particular items matter so much. He also explained that, to fulfill the warrantee specifications, the underlying layer had to be particular product as well with a full explanation. He asked if I had any questions and I didn't know what to ask so I asked him what I should ask and we had further discussion. For $14k we have a 40-year roof that looks exactly the same as previous, but I know is much better off long term and will be a selling point of the house with a transferrable warrantee. Scott does business the right/honest/up-front way. He has all the licenses, insurance, and city inspections that many roofers do not bother with. Additionally, his team of roofers were professional and considerate of the grounds surrounding our house by placing tarps over the ground to catch all debris from removing old roof. Scott was on site multiple times over the course of 1.25 days and kept me well informed. Excellence is the word I would describe Smart Roofing. Great work Team!

Honest and a fair price. Completed the job in one day. Left the area clean . Scott stopped by several times during the roof replacement to make sure everything was going on as planned. He is a no pressure salesman with customers interest in mine. If you need a new roof I highly recommend him
